Kids have to do the work for themselves, teacher has to grade all of them. Sooo unfair.

Kids have to do this for 6+ classes.

Teachers have to do this for all the kids in each of their classes. Teachers don't just teach one class.

Most teachers don't teach more than 4 classes a day. Doing the work takes at least ten times longer than grading it.

That depends on the class and the grade level. This is one of the most circumstantial arguments ever. Teachers have a lot more stress on their plates than people think. Yea, some need to stop slacking on their jobs, but don't think that teachers are just lazy

I'd prefer to call it a debate, since we're not using caps and calling each other faggots. I'm referring to high school here, since grading a 4th grader's work won't even break sweat. I'm just saying that a teacher's job isn't any more stressful than a student's "job". Students are constantly pressured to get top notch grades, take intense AP courses, and do tons of things outside of school (whether it may be sports, music, courses, jobs, internships, etc)

That's why it's all circumstantial. The higher the grade level the longer and more complex the papers and tests are. I guess I can't disagree with you when it comes to lower grade levels, but in my opinion once you hit your jr year +, things get more stressful for both the teacher and student.

Well I'm at the end of my junior year at a top high school in NYC and I've never been more pressured. I'm taking the SAT for the second time this coming Saturday and have to worry about SAT II's, as well as finals.
