User avatar #57 to #53 - wedgehead (04/30/2013) [-]
Normal range or North-Korea-range featured?
User avatar #60 to #57 - cyric (04/30/2013) [-]
Dude...

it's a freaking nuclear mortar...not a super soaker.

Normal range.
#66 to #60 - anon (04/30/2013) [-]
nah, these were never used because the resulting nuclear fallout would affect the operator. At least north Koreans weren't that fail.

Boltshells are self-propelling. The Imperial Guard uses drum-fed Grenade launchers though. And Autocannon rounds are pretty much high-velocity grenades.

That to the lore of WH4K those things fire tiny rockets, so they function more like the failed Gyrojet rocket pistol.

I said this the last time I saw this posted too: The younglings also got lightsabers that they had with them throughout their training. Didn't save them.

Your comment is too easy to pick apart, therefore I'm going to allow you to continue to soak yourself in self-admiration that the argument you just proposed is in any way a good argument for/against the owning of guns.

And after taking a couple finals already today, I'm way too tired for an argument.

Just wanna let you know that your argument has about as many holes in it as does swiss cheese.

"youre wrong, but i cant be bothered explaining why"

lolwat.

You pretty much nailed it.

After being up 36 hours straight in preparation for 3 finals today, I was too tired to explain. And just wanted to insert my opinion (whether good or bad), just to let him know that the argument he proposed was not as sound as it could be.

Didn't mean for such butthurt.

It was a ******* joke, I did a google search and posted a half dozen funny pictures cuz I'm a dirty little thumb whore.

My comment was in response to badgerclan's comment, not yours. I enjoy the picture you posted. Even gave you one of those 'Green Thumb things'. badgerclan either missed the joke or simply intended to ruin it with seriousness.

Anyone know the difference between this and the mk-19?
User avatar #18 to #13 - fantomen (04/30/2013) [-]
There are many differences.
Firstly, the Mark-19 uses an unreliable and potentially dangerous API-blowback system. The Striker uses a more safe and reliable short recoil system.

Another big difference is that the Striker has in integrated digital fire control system, so it can fire smart grenades like airburst grenades programed to explode above the enemy, as well as the old dumb grenades.

I was operating the 50 Cal once deployed and went through an entire belt, then went to change the Barrel(it over heats and explodes) Had my Leather insulated gloves on, touched the barrel, solderer my gloves to it. Or melted, whatever.
#83 to #34 - Memitim (05/02/2013) [-]
I did something remarkably similar when I was in high school - melted a pair of mechanix gloves to my hands after touching something that had been cut with an torch.

Moral of the story: Mechanix gloves are impact resistant, not fire resistant.
#63 - rbpwn (04/30/2013) [-]
That's a lot of gun
