Do you mind? I'm busy doing the fishstick. It's a very delicate state of mind!

"wins every game" no **** America wins their wars since they only go to war if they outnumber their enemies 10 to 1. That's just bad.

>10 to 1

I'd love to know where you get those statistics because that's some ********. We've been outnumbered, and many times outgunned, by our enemies. Somehow we've always won.

Always win our wars huh? How have you people overlooked the defeats that are Vietnam and Afghanistan?

Vietnam was a political defeat. We beat the last-ditch Tet Offensive and could've retaliated VERY swiftly if we had a less ass-sucking government.

What does that even mean? A military defeat on whose part?

well let's have an adventure to your comment.

"have you people overlooked the defeats that are Vietnam and Afghanistan?"

assuming you are talking about the united states being defeated, I was concurring with "are you serious" because neither of those were military defeats, and Afghanistan isn't a defeat on any level, because we are still fighting, and destroying any enemies in the process.

Well Aren't you uneducated. In Vietnam the United States had to give up and sign an armistice and then North Vietnam become one with South Vietnam as a communist state which the U.S was trying to prevent. In Afghanistan, while there is still fighting there most of the military forces have been removed since it is a never ending battle with the real enemy Taliban being almost indistinguishable from the rest of the population and the U.S is allied to the government there so it can't just start dropping bombs randomly and the insurgents know the land so well that no one will ever get an upper hand fighting them on their land. This inevitability has been proven when the Soviet Union, a greater military power than the U.S, lost the war there too. I am a Global Studies student and I know what I'm talking about so think twice before speaking about something you know nothing about.

Oh fiesty, but it seems you still do not know what you are talking about. The united states lost all home support for the Vietnamese war after the Tet offensive (although a complete failure on the NVA's end), pushing Americans to sue for peace. After Operation Rolling thunder, where we annihilated the North Vietnamese armies, Hanoi agreed. You need to go through your "Global studies" notes and find out what a military defeat was.

In Afghanistan, the sole purpose was to dismantle the Taliban government and remove the al-qaeda influence, which guess what we did? A completely different story in comparison to the soviet invasion, which they did not overthrow the taliban.

we are only fighting ultra-muslims in Afghanistan, none of which are our objective.

Operation Rolling Thunder was a failure and instead of spewing my opinions like you I will actually provide sources. [url deleted]

And as for Afghanistan when NATO and U.S forces finally leaves there, it will be as if the last 12 years never happened. There will not be a trace they were ever there. Karzai will flee or be killed, and the Taliban will take over the entire country. All the lives lost, all the money spent, will be for nothing.

It seems you one of those people that are just so blinded by nationalism and comfortably spoon fed the contrived version of events the media spins. I'm done with this argument if you're even worthy of partaking in it.

If we only go to war if we outnumber our enemies 10 to 1 then I'd like you to explain the Revolutionary war, The Spanish American War, The American Civil War, World War 1, World War 2, and while it technically never came to fruition, the Cold War.

So? It helps to have every advantage you can. War isn't about being "fair".
