Yeah, ok, we'll go with that.
User avatar #54 to #52 - thenameschuck (04/28/2013) [-]
No, tell me what were you trying to even get out of what you said?
User avatar #55 to #54 - sonicg (04/28/2013) [-]
Due to the fact that the image was relatable to something that happened to me at one point, I figured it may be slightly 'giigle-worthy', enough so that I would share it with FJ.

what if he took the image and inverted it?
#6 to #3 - jeppetp (04/27/2013) [-]
That's why you can't be color blind between purple and blue, it's always between two opposite colors... Blue/orange, green/red and purple/yellow...
User avatar #110 to #3 - mrblueftw (04/28/2013) [-]
Someone told me before i did that.
User avatar #4 to #3 - honkan (04/27/2013) [-]
For a second I though: "How would that help, it would just make the writing purple and the the background dark blue". Then i un-derped. .

#16 to #4 - fragman (04/27/2013) [-]
It's ok. Happens to everyone.
#96 to #4 - anon (04/28/2013) [-]
Been trying to understand this for a solid 5 minutes now. Isn't that exactly what would happen if you inverted it?
#121 to #96 - honkan (04/28/2013) [-]
No, this would happen. Inverting is not switching the colors around, it's changing them to the opposite color, as given by the RGB value.
User avatar #22 to #4 - maxismahname ONLINE (04/27/2013) [-]
I'm still thinking that, I think I can't really brain today
#99 to #22 - anon (04/28/2013) [-]
I believe he means invert the RGB values of the two colors using a photo manipulator. It would give you opposite colors. At least that's what I'm thinking. Or I'm over-thinking it, or cannot brain today.
#117 to #99 - anon (04/28/2013) [-]
You're right. Depends on how do they invert it, but it should be readable after.

User avatar #44 to #42 - gatorade (04/28/2013) [-]
Yeah true, the green and red seem a bit different than they're used in "official" test

User avatar #7 - codyxvasco (04/27/2013) [-]
wouldn't they notice a change in contrast?
#9 to #7 - anon (04/27/2013) [-]
It really depends on the intensity of the colors. I'm completely Red/Green colorblind, but have learned to tell how to tell red/green/brown apart by intensity and context. However, if you put scarlet and forest green right next to each other, you're a ******* asshole, since I can't tell the difference.
#98 to #9 - anon (04/28/2013) [-]
So... Do you green as red, or red as green?
User avatar #14 to #9 - codyxvasco (04/27/2013) [-]
I always thought even though the colors would look the same, you could still notice a distinction.

Like how even though green and red would look like brown, you would still notice a difference....I'm sorry....I'm wrong....
User avatar #13 to #9 - dosburritos (04/27/2013) [-]
do you see both as gray, see green as red, or red as green?
User avatar #31 - jeej (04/28/2013) [-]
Incorrect usage of meme reaches the front page.
#33 to #31 - veryspecialagent (04/28/2013) [-]
How is that incorrect? To the guy, he's telling him what the picture "says".

To us He's showing us he's a nice guy by changing a rude statement into a nice one to make the guy feel better. Both of those cases sound like a good guy doing a good deed.

So once again, how is it so wrong that you feel you need to comment just how wrong it is, when everyone else is clever enough to understand what he meant...
User avatar #34 to #33 - jeej (04/28/2013) [-]
So it's okay in your opinion because he probably won't find out he is lying, which makes him a good guy?
What if he thanks the guy who has made the picture? Like thanks, that's really kind of you. That makes a fool out of him for believing the GGG:
It's a question of moral and ethic, and I therefor think it's an incorrect usage of that meme since good guy greg is a good guy and therefor should not be used when you tell a lie.
#36 to #34 - veryspecialagent (04/28/2013) [-]
Unless protecting the other guy's feelings, which would be a nice thing to do...

Plus nobody thanks anybody for **** on this site, and if someone wrote something about me that I couldn't read on this site, I'd assume the worst. To not to would be pretty dumb.

>morals and ethics? That doesn't exist online... whatever dude you're thinking too hard about a picture someone used to make their comment more eye-catching. That's why most ppl use them in the first place.

#108 - dandyhandy **User deleted account** (04/28/2013) [-]
Definitely not colorblind, but when I see certain shades of blue and purple by themselves I mix them up (usually I think certain shades of dark blue is purple) but when I see them next to eachother I can clearly see the difference. Not sure if that's a type of colorblindness or just failure of kindergarten.....
