<----- What my rover can draw.

If our government spends 820 million to send a high tech rover to mars, I'd be more disappointed if they didn't draw a penis at one time or another.

Op must want his own Mars rover now

Is this fake? I always thought it was fake, but you guys seem to think it's real.

I'm not trying to challenge anyone, becasue I seriously have no ******* idea, I just always assumed it was fake, so is it?
User avatar #31 to #21 - stallwallwriter (04/27/2013) [-]
No, I'm pretty sure it's real. Saw a bit on it on the colbert report, apparently people actually crashed the NASA site trying to check it out.

fj users will believe anything is real if it coincides with what they want to be real

You know some geek at nasa thought it'd be funny to have it at a random point run the course of a dick through the terrain go 10 feet from it turn around and take a picture, and then wrote the program into the little bastard and let it fly into space.
User avatar #11 to #10 - walcorn ONLINE (04/27/2013) [-]
Except it's being controlled from earth, it wasn't programmed to drive in any specific pattern before launch.
#12 to #11 - bluwizard (04/27/2013) [-]
ah then someone just drew a dick themselves, and took a picture.

I don't get it, I didn't see a dick at all when I saw that picture the first time. You people seem to be really good at spotting cocks.
User avatar #39 - oggis (04/27/2013) [-]
Does anyone have the pic where the boy draws dicks onto fences and becomes a scientist and invents a laser which he uses to draw a dick on the moon?
User avatar #36 - nicrofl (04/27/2013) [-]
this is like what I saw on reddit 2 weeks ago, and the same thing that was shared on facebook 1 week ago. OP so awesome.

Stupid question: Are we 100% sure there isn't any oxygen in Mars?

Not ignorant just curious...
User avatar #19 to #18 - arcanezero (04/27/2013) [-]
well if there is oxygen there is very little but mars is filled with carbon dioxide which with plants we could inhabit mars in about 20 years
#29 to #19 - anon (04/27/2013) [-]
plants also need oxygen for aerobic activities, just not photosynthetic ones, and there needs to be an atmosphere before land based plants can be used. At present, the best we could do if find some puddles and put algae in it just to maybe get it up to terraforming capacity.

radiation weak magnetic field and dust storms. mars is spinning slower so its core insnt generating as strong as our earth which means the atmosphere is being blown away. since the atmosphere is thin there is little ozone so most of the radiation gets through. and if the plant manages the radiation it will be sanded down or blown away.
User avatar #35 to #33 - thraza (04/27/2013) [-]
i mean to say isnt generating as strong of a magnetic field as the earth
