The bermuda triangle doesn't exist. It doesn't even have a higher disappearance rate than any other equally-trafficked part of the ocean.

All the 'oooh spooky happenings in the bermuda triangle' are the result of a few embellishments added to everyday accidents and the hysteria that now surrounds it.

This 'scientific' explanation is something pulled out of his arse which sounds like it might vaguely have a grain of truth. It's right to be skeptical about supernbatural occurences but equally, if not more so, it is essential to be skeptical of pseudoscientific mumbo-jumbo. If it can't be sourced, it probably isn't true.
