Smart, if the entire Doctor Who fanbase got together to sign the petition, Cispa would still be running around because when do internet petitions ever get listened to?

I really don't understand why people are putting such a fuss about CISPA. Wow, they are going to know are phone numbers and addresses. It's not like they already have it. Besides. Hackers and whoeverelse do that all the time. I mean look at that 9gag kid who was declaring war on 4chan. People found out his personal information in about half a day.

Can someone tell me what the problem is?

The problem is that a certain country's government just gained a tad greater grasp over the internet. It's supposed to be free and everyone should be able to use it. It's the only thing about the whole world shares without anyone taking control.
Now when the US implements this, they're one step closer to taking control of the only thing that still is free in this modern society.
The problem is simply that they're taking what isn't theirs.

PS: They'll eventually step up their game, this is probably the first step of many to gain total control over the web.

CISPA and what is to come after are the reason I'm stocking my physibles files now. The only thing I don't have is a ******* car because I don't have the storage space available for that. I'm going to be sure to download everything I possibly can and in the near future, if they're banned, distribute them to trustworthy individuals(Who are probably doing the same thing right now) so they can be distributed safely and freely just like anything on the internet should be.

CISPA isn't a bill for censorship, it's a bill giving the government the right to demand websites to give your information to them. It's still wrong but get your ******* facts straight before you protest **** .

That speech, along with the 'you never put me in a trap' speech from the weeping angels episode, were the most inspirational speeches I've ever heard.
