I find the lack of Scotland disturbing, The rest of the UK bringing us down. If we were independent we'd be 8th highest in the world with 11.8 litres per capita for every person aged over 16.

Yeah, it may seem like a ****** thing to boast about, but it gives you a sense of homeland pride.
User avatar #7 to #5 - euchreplayer (04/26/2013) [-]
For those too lazy,
US ranks 57th at 9.44 beverages/year per person
Australia 44th at 10.02 beverages/year per person
Canada 48th at 9.77 beverages/year per person
Ireland 15th at 14.41 beverages/year per person
and something I found interesting:
Russia is 4th at 15.76. Only Moldova, Czech Republic, and Hungary managed to outdrink the Russians.
User avatar #18 to #7 - sepheroth (04/26/2013) [-]
And Yemen comes in last. Poor Chandler.
#38 to #7 - angelusprimus ONLINE (04/26/2013) [-]
Oh, and no one outdrinks the russians.
If you check the numbers you will see that while hungarians, moldovans and czech drunk more, they drunk significantly more beer and wine, while russians drunk lot more spirits (vodka)
Now two pints of beer are a liter of beer, and thats just night out in a pub, you are only a little tipsy. large bottle of vodka is a liter, and your alcohol blood levels are actually in the leathal zone.
#35 to #7 - angelusprimus ONLINE (04/26/2013) [-]
Not the number of beverages, LITERS.
For example small beer bottle is only .33 liter. Which means 3 beers per liter. If average american drink 4.47 liters of beer it means he had about 13 beers. But also average american drinks 2.56 liters of spirits. there are 22 shots in a liter of alcohol so that makes it slightly over 56 shots.
A bottle of wine is usually a liter, and average american drinks a bottle and a third of wine, or six and a half wine glasses.
That is lot more beverages then 9.44
#8 to #7 - anon (04/26/2013) [-]
What the **** , 9.44 a year?

I'm apparently an alcoholic...
User avatar #9 to #8 - euchreplayer (04/26/2013) [-]

#25 to #20 - anon (04/26/2013) [-]
Just because the german stereotype is beer drinkers doesnt mean you arent a light weight faggot that gets bung eyed off 2 beers.
#34 to #25 - angelusprimus ONLINE (04/26/2013) [-]
That almost never happens, since parents in germany generally let kids have some beer since they are in early teens.
Tolerance builds up over time.
Though after nearly 2 gallons of good german beer (like on that pic) just about anyone has had enough. Its not freaking budwiser.

But the IRA aren't too bad compared to the loyalist groups like UDA, UVF and the UFF.
But if you're caught drug dealing, breaking into peoples houses, jumping people for no reason then you are pulled into an alley and shot through the kneecaps..
