Can you read dude? It's saying pathways that are shut down by autism can be reactivated through pot. Getting so many thumbs over something you misread...

Er.... That's actually saying pot has medical benefits for people with autism. It helps reestablish the broken pathways of the neuro-connectors in their brain that stimulate emotion.

It doesn't say it has medicinal benefits, it just says that mutations similar to autism are connected to deficiencies in the connections/pathways in the brain that marajuana activates. Also their called neurons or neuropathways, not neuro-connectors.

Also I say neuro-connectors because the majority of FJ understand that term better. Neuro=Brain, Connectors=Things that connect, both = Connections inside of the brain. It may not be proper medical terminology but it's easier to understand for the average person.

It does say it has medical benefits, you're reading the statement incorrectly. If you don't believe me read the articles I linked below.

They're examples of what marijuana does to people with autism, so I think they're at least semi-related. While not the most reputable(You're absolutely right on that note) I have found that many should-be reputable studies have been financed intensely by anti-MJ pharmaceutical companies so sometimes the most reputable turn out to be the most biased and the least reputable can be too, but not as much.
