Do you live in a democratic country with a constitution or bill of rights of some sort that were created after America was founded?

Aside from that, years of technological innovations, ideas, and creations which the whole ******* world, at least the developed world enjoys today.

It's also a country of immigration, which I think, is pretty cool as far as civlizations go.

The U.S. never seems to get credit, I know my country is ****** up, corrupt, and pretty much the incarnation of our founders fears, but I feel like no one gives us credit.

Sorry but, have you ever heard of WW2? Huge war that we wanted absolutely nothing to do with, but yet we got dragged into and turned the war completely around basically saving the world from Hitler? How about all the ******** money we send to countries that hate us, but god forbid we stop sending them that money.

You really know nothing of World war 2 do you?

The Soviet troops in Siberia were waiting for Japan to to invade,
the army's of of Japan that made it to the Soviet Union were beaten badly.
So the order was to send all 15 Million Soviet troops the were in Siberia to defeat Hitler, by now the year is 43 the U.S. had just entered the war with Germany, The Soviet troops in Siberia were all trained and battle ready... All 15 Million of them...
Nazi Germany stood no chance against the Soviet Union, Hitler knew that, That's why all Nazis feared the Eastern Front. Leningrad and Stalingrad would never have fallen anyway because they were all holding for the troops in Siberia to back them up, Hitler put every thing he had into taking Russia and failed, get you facts right before you go saying "AMERICA TURNED THE WAR AROUND!" because they didn't, The Soviet Union did...

(sorry for the bad english)
As we say here Das-vee-danya!

America unofficially entered the war when Roosevelt began the Lend-Lease Act, breaking America's isolationist ideals. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor for revenge because America froze their assets and stopped oil trade. America officially entered the war after Pearl Harbor.

They also wanted to create a Pacific Empire, so they were already focusing on the Pacific, but even more because America got involved. Pearl Harbor was the worst mistake Japan made.

The attack on Pearl Harbor was a last resort type move. They were already losing the war and were nearly depleted of resources. They attacked Pearl Harbor in an attempt to scare off the Americans rather than to actually fight them because they knew that there would be no way of winning a fight with the US who still had all of their military strength.

And we've spent the last 60 years after that getting into several wars and at least one big cluster **** of an undeclared war that all pretty much make the rest of the world hate us. After 60 years of **** ups I don't think anyone can use WW2 anymore to say how awesome of a country we are. It is like Al Bundy constantly bringing up his high school football career after being a shoe salesman for 20 years..

North Korea--UN got involved before US, then China joined, so the US joined. UN obviously supported that war. Vietnam War--UN supported our war effort. Gulf War--Thatcher PUSHED Bush to intervene. When Bush finally did, he did so with support for UN and NATO. Afghanistan War--Supported by UN and NATO, operations later taken over largely by NATO. Iraq War--I got nothing. Your "**** ups" weren't only the US's **** ups. In fact, most all of them were supported by many countries world wide. Especially the Gulf War, in of which a coalition was formed (which included Britain, France, Japan, and even Russia). The thing is, the US has been doing the UN's dirty work and been getting all the bad press for it.

Whether supported or not, we didn't have to go to war. US joined the Korean War because of The Red Scare; a result of our own fears and superiority complex. Vietnam was a cluster **** of bad press we had no business being involved in regardless of UN support or not. Afghanistan War, we are the ones who put the Taliban in power for our own profit, them biting the hand that fed them was what got us involved in that mess. Iraq War, miscellaneous **** up. They were all still US **** up regardless of other people being involved in them too. We are the biggest and most powerful so we are held the most responsible for these actions.

You've never taken a history class apparently. Before we got in the war, we did everything we could to help the Allies cause that is who we wanted to win. We isolated ourselves from the war because we did not want to join. Germany sank ships that were passenger ships, there were multiple the most historically famous is The Lusitania. That was before Pearl Harbor, which was the last straw for FDR and the rest of the U.S. Google before you reply buddy.

Its very possible that the war could have been won without US intervention, but I'm not sure if D-Day would have been as successful, if it worked at all. Considering that it was a joint invasion between the US, Canada, and Britain, without the US, the Allied forces would have been thinned out, possibly resulting in it being a failure. Other than that, I'm pretty sure the US wouldn't have been needed.

Yes, D-Day might not have succeeded but the war still most likely would have been won, If the US hadn't come in and helped, the Soviets probably would have picked up the slack in invading Germany

I'm on your side, but actually, that is not true. The US government, to an extent DID want into the war, however didn't have enough reason to sway public opinion until (for the pacific) the pearl harbor attack and (for the European theater), Hitler formally declared war on us. Until those two events happened, we assisted by diplomatic measures, and supplying allied nations who were involved in the war, much like world war one.

Actually the real term is the Japan self defense forces (日本国自衛隊), which as the name suggest is for self defense (duh). Technically by law, they are an "extension of the police", so they can't go and retaliate. They have over 200,000 in said force, I doubt that's just for show.

He and his henchmen never locked me up or anything, they just made me hold a padlock all day and made fun of me.
