Fun fact, early humans had enzymes that naturally occurred in their stomachs that allowed them to ingest raw meat. Over several generations of advancements and the general realization that meat tastes better cooked, humans became less and less tolerant to raw meats(the enzyme being unnecessary). Some people; however, do still naturally possess the genes to handle raw meats, and as stated below me, some people can build a tolerance to it as well.

Anybody can eat raw meat, personally it's my preference. We still have a very similar enzymatic make up to most carnivores, with a few extras to break down carbs, it's just that cooking breaks down much of the protein so it is absorbed and utilized more readily. It's what allowed us to develop our awesomely huge brains. Plus, y'know, trichinosis, salmonella, e. coli, etc are killed with cooking.

Many people build a tolerance to raw meat and can actually live off it.

I've heard of this guy before. He takes food that he can easily eat, and places it within the dead animal, usually in a small bag, and then he eats it along with them.

There's a book where a guy does this. Unfortunately, it's not all about him. Called "Lone Wolf"
User avatar #31 - monkeysniper (04/21/2013) [-]
Is that him kissing the wolf in the third pane or something?
#32 to #31 - spamzor (04/21/2013) [-]
Wolves often greet eachother by taking the nuzzle into their maw and biting softly

I didn't even used to comment here, and I browse FJ since 2009 and never made an account until last year. Mostly because I was underage (I'm almost 19 now)
