He had no NRA book, was pro gun control and the explosion was made by a pressure cooker with shrapnel inside it. Also, it was two males. And the majority of criminal acts all over the world are done by males in their twenties. Nothing surprising there.

Barely any of that is true. He wasn't pro-NRA, there were two people, one of whom was 19, and they used a pressure cooker, not reloading powder.

An "Islam" extremist.. Are you stupid, or do you take retard pills?

Those people DEFINITELY represent all Muslims. Interesting how this kind of thing is only pointed out when 1/3 of the recent times it has happened (in America) has actually been a Muslim. What about Colorado or Connecticut? Interesting how religion was never brought up there...

Next: You realize those are shiites?
There are two MAIN sects of Muslims; Sunnis and Shiites. Shiites are the most prominent in these acts of terror, and if you hadn't realized, NOT ALL SHIITES ARE EVEN COMMITTING THESE. It's a small percentage of shiites.

I am not saying on religion is "better" than the other, but what I am saying is there are extremists in both groups and these extremists make up an minority of both religions. Also I am sure that If a foreign country occupied the US, no matter how much some the population appreciated it, there would be a large rise in christian extremists.

Rage Story

>Playing a game earlier tonight, not doing so well
>It's a moba game and the toon I picked is squishy to start off with
>Get halfway through match and teammate starts raging I'm 0/7 (No kills, 7 deaths)
>Try to explain I'm playing defensively til I get lvl'd up

(Sidenote: 7 deaths doesn't sound defensive, but both my towers were still standing whereas they had lost both of theirs; BUT they have more kills so apparently I suck)

>To no surprise, kid doesn't give a **** , goes on to say...
>"You need to die IRL"
>"Seriously. You need shot and killed right now."
>Laugh it off thinking, internet rager, oh noeezzzz
>Doesn't stop there
>"No. I'm serious. I'm going to hunt you down myself and kill you."
>I still laugh it off: he continues
>I'm serious kid. You think I'm joking. I am going to track you down; kill you and your family. When I'm done with you, the Boston Bombings will look like a kiddy party.
>At this point I start thinking "It seems to meeee..... that he may be a little upset."
>Game ends; in post game lobby
>He and his friend take off
>"Good! We have your ign, and your email address. You think I'm joking? See you soon."
>Leave lobby.
>Friend goes on to say I was making racist remarks and yadda yadda. Leaves

To summarize: With all that has happened already this year; I'm a tad concerned. This happened about 4 hours ago. Any suggestions on what do?

I will elaborate more as I didn't above to avoid diverting from the point.

We had two in left lane (the two douchers), mage in mid, and myself in right. Our 5th man who was supposed to be laning with me wasn't. He kept running to mid or just afk. So it was myself vs 2 other guys. So to AVOID feeding I stayed by the tower and tried to pick their health down as best as I could until they based to refuel.

If I managed to get both of their healths down then I would base as well and rush back before they could get back to our tower. I continued this strategy the entirety of the game by myself. The 7 deaths were when they would rush in and pop both ults. This happened a total of 7 times as I was able to get away a couple times.

Playing defensive was the only strategy I had over them. If I would have continuously charged at them with my squishy toon, then I would most definitely have fed them. So 7 deaths over the course of 40 minutes in a 1v2 situation? Well, to you I say "Pic related."

No probably not. But it was a high-profile terrorist with a proven threat to public safety.

To be honest, most people on FJ will see it as a conspiracy for police control. But most likely, it is just an attempt to show the government "doing something" and take a forceful hand in a situation somewhat blown out of proportion.

Become a Sufi, be like Rumi and write awesome poems

A true lover is proved such by his pain of heart;
No sickness is there like sickness of heart.
The lover's ailment is different from all ailments;
Love is the astrolabe of God's mysteries.
A lover may hanker after this love or that love,
But at the last he is drawn to the KING of love.
However much we describe and explain love,
When we fall in love we are ashamed of our words.
Explanation by the tongue makes most things clear,
But love unexplained is clearer.
When pen hasted to write,
On reaching the subject of love it split in twain.
When the discourse touched on the matter of love,
Pen was broken and paper torn.
In explaining it Reason sticks fast, as an ass in mire;
Naught but Love itself can explain love and lovers!
None but the sun can display the sun,
If you would see it displayed, turn not away from it.
Shadows, indeed, may indicate the sun's presence,
But only the sun displays the light of life.
Shadows induce slumber, like evening talks,
But when the sun arises the "moon is split asunder.

unless you mean shias

if so, i just want to say that they are not all radicals or fundamentalists

both shias and sunnis have their own nut jobs who think that all non-muslims are infidels and that they should be killed

also, I'm from the middle east and even some of the radical muslims we have (who believe that you would go to hell for owning a tv) believe that those who are killing innocent people in the name of islam are the bad ones and that they should go to hell for what they've done

Shia Muslims are called "Shiite" or sometimes "Shi'ite"

"Shiite Muslim - a member of the branch of Islam that regards Ali as the legitimate successor to Mohammed and rejects the first three caliphs"

But yes I know this.
I have spoken with a friend in Mecca for like the last 3 months helping me with my research as well as a few brief conversations with a friend in Pakistan.

You're just as bad as the extremist for lumping all Shi'ites with the radicals. What about the terrorist Sunni muslims in Pakistan that behead/bomb/harass Shia civilians purely for their religion? My best friends Iranian and nearly nobody is like what you think they are. Shi'ites are just as innocent as the Sunni. Both hate the extremists for what they do, because they do it "in the name of Allah", even though its haram (forbidden/sin) to hurt women, children, unarmed civilians AND yourself, even in the sake of a minor jihad (a physical struggle for your religion).

Don't be a cunt, none of you are bad. Not even the extremists. They're just misguided.

What i don't get it is if they were innocent the whole time why didn't they turn themselves in? They had hours of exchanging gunfire with police, and are reported to have thrown pipe-bombs and grenades. I'm not siding either way here, but it isn't the mark of an innocent man to kill a cop in his car, car jack another person, and get into a fire-fight with police.
User avatar #336 to #314 - RlCK (04/21/2013) [-]
Because innocent people who get wrongly accused of something have shootouts and throw grenades at police, right?

because when you have a perfect and a good educated life you will ruin that by bombing people, dzhokhar tsarnaev was popular in school and was a social member there and his income was perfectly fine, his brother also had a boxing career and was married, they had no criminal records.

If he was Christian, his religion wouldn't be to blame and no one would think all Christians are like that
But they think just because a few Muslims are terrorists that everyone who is Muslim is a terrorist
Is it because Western cultures don't like people that are different?

Dislike and anger towards a certain group is allways grounded in some justifiable, and some non-justifiable stereotypes that are negative. With Islam it's probably the fact that they stand for most of the "recent" larg scale terrorist attacks and bombings of the western world. So it's easy to see why some people would feel that way.

Just being different is just an excuse used when people want to hide the unfortunate facts. Yes the VASTVAST majority of people following Islam are peacfull people, but that doesn't change the fact that they also have a "relativly" large group of extremistsm which is where the hate comes from (couple with countries like Saudi arabia pissing on human rights).

Japan is massivly different from the west, and they get nothing but love for it :)

What are you even talking about? Since 9/11 it's always been "muslims!" whenever anything happens that involves bombs or "terrorist attacks".

As for us Americans "flipping a **** " whenever muslims get blamed or insulted...exactly what Americans are you talking about? Those douchebag "peaceful" demonstrators who are more anti-American than Bin Laden ever was? or maybe the media that is told what to say and show?

Stop thinking that the words that come from media-whores who can't keep themselves away from cameras are the words of all Americans.

2 Billion Muslims. around 60,000 extremists withing Al-Qaeda and Taliban. .0003% are extremists. (Gee Dan, how do you know there aren't secret extremists?)

1. "sleepers" would make up such a small number that it wouldnt matter
2. Extremists are very proud to be in their religion and very proud to be extremists.... They are... Extreme.

Christians have the same Wackjobs but because they are the majority in America as well as many other places means they don't need this kind of thing. They can just silently sit behind their TV screens and post on facebook about how wrong someone's religion is.

Everyone needs to stop discriminating against eachother.

To quote the Bible "Worry not of the sawdust in your neighbors eye when there is a plank in thine."

To quote the Koran “To us our deeds, and to you yours; peace be to you: we do not seek out the ignorant.”

Taoist "See the world as yourself,
Have faith in the way things are,
Love the world as yourself,
Then you can care for all things."

We've tried killing all of our time here on Earth. Yeah I know its a silly notion because we just can't expect everyone to stay calm and accept everyone because they get "offended" for someone being different. The world is changing and everyone must one day be accepted, gay straight, black yellow white or what the **** ever you are. Muslim, Tao, Christian, Jew, Kabbalistic, Seekist, Buddhist, even atheist or agnostic.
I'm not posting this so that you'll be like LOLACCEPTANCEFAG. Or even so you'll agree with me. I just wanted to say it. "To receive everything, one must open ones hands and give." Taisen Deshimaru

I dont really care who bombed in Boston ... but i saw muslims cheering like they did as they burned down US buildings in the middle east and killed the People in there

or as they cheered for 9/11 and all those poor People that died at that day

I say - if you celebrate the death of others you are scum
Islamic nations do celebrate it very often -> so i made up my mind
