Not a pic of the Bitch King ulysse! You can post both the Witch-king clapping and the Lich King clapping, but not the Bitch...

It just hurts looking at him satisfied with anything. Isn't there a gif of him getting killed or seriously handicapped anywhere?!

Just wait for the middle of this season...
User avatar #34 to #25 - retardedboss (04/19/2013) [-]
Well they're splitting ASoS into two seasons, so if it's in this season, it will be the end at the end. I think they're going to end with the red wedding, maybe that will be the second to last episode, then the happy thing will be the finale.
User avatar #43 to #34 - EdwardNigma ONLINE (04/19/2013) [-]
Episode 9 is the Red Wedding. Joffs will be the next one.
The next episode is something. You can guess by the title "Now his watch is ended"
User avatar #45 to #43 - retardedboss (04/19/2013) [-]
Aaaah, gotcha. I haven't looked at episode names yet. I should do that.

Sam had better kill a wight before the season is over.

That last statement had nothing to do with episode titles, in case someone though that's what I was going for.

I'm only a bit further than Mouz down there book wise, shortly after Joffreys wedding (BEST ******* WEDDING, 10/10, WOULD READ AGAIN)

Good ol' Sam.
And Davos. ******* love Davos god damn.
User avatar #49 to #47 - retardedboss (04/19/2013) [-]
Ah, well Sam murders the crap out of a white walker in the very beginning of Storm of Swords, so you should have read that already.

But fun stuff happens on the wall, lots of fun stuff.

Yeah, he sure did, ******* hardcore. (Small Paul though. And then he came back with Mormonts raven. It made me sadder than it should have.)

And by fun stuff you mean like, I don't know, ******* ALLISTER THORNEY DICK COMING BACK AND BEING A FAGGOT AS USUAL? (That was the last chapter I read.)
User avatar #53 to #50 - retardedboss (04/19/2013) [-]
Naw, I'm thinking of the very end of that book, and toward the beginning of A Dance with Dragons. I'm only half way through, I'm sure more fun stuff will happen.

Neat. I hope Mance does some more cool, classy **** .
I like Mance, the Nights Watch is awesome as **** , but Mance has that air about him, that classy "Don't give a **** " kind. He's always so calm and chill, but when it comes time to be a hardass, things get serious.

Oh, alright. I'm not that far in the show, maybe like episode for, but I just got to Joff's wedding in the book.

I've noticed. Can you tell me when Dany becomes relevant to the plot?
User avatar #41 to #39 - retardedboss (04/19/2013) [-]
Unfortunately there is nothing of her in a Feast for Crows (i suppose that's a good thing for you if you don't like her) but she's a main driving factor of the plot in A Dance with Dragons.

However if you payed attention you'll notice already that melisandre's prophecy about stanis (born of fire, the blood of kings bringing forth the dragons and the like) applies to her better than stanis.

User avatar #82 to #41 - kingrui (04/19/2013) [-]
Doesnt only apply for her but also for jon snow, wich i think is the real Azor Ahai
User avatar #83 to #82 - retardedboss (04/19/2013) [-]
I haven't finished ADwD yet, but how does jon match the stuff about dragons and being born of fire?
User avatar #89 to #83 - kingrui (04/19/2013) [-]
I cant explain the theory based on what are you saying that melisandre sai about dragons and stuffs, but here are some topics:
Jon's wounds smoke while Bowen Marsh cries, providing the prophecised salt, and Ser Patrek's bloody, star laden heraldry is in the air above.
When Melisandre looks into her fires for Azor Ahai, she sees only things to do with Jon or snow, which he thinks must just be ash but she sees a possible connection to Jon.
Jon Snow has a dream where he fights the Others with a red sword burning in his hand.
If having the Blood of the Dragon is a prerequisite, if Jon's father is truly Rhaegar, Jon would satisfy that prerequisite. He would be the grandson of Aerys and Rhaella and thus come from their line.
Jon chose his duty to the Night's Watch over his love for Ygritte. He indirectly caused her death by warning Castle Black of the incoming wildling raid. Similar to Azor Ahai sacrificing Nissa Nissa to complete Lightbringer.
> I believe that jon is son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar and Ned Stark brought him to winterfell saying he is a bastard so no one would kill him for having Targaryen blood
User avatar #91 to #89 - retardedboss (04/19/2013) [-]
Hmm, plausible. Like I said I'm only halfwayish through ADwD, and I left my book at school D:
Anyway, when heredity is important in this series it is usually really clear, like gendry and Joff. That's what leads me to believe jon may have something to do with Robert. Your theory is a lot more well supported though. Just usually when someone is targaryen they have white hair and purple eyes.
User avatar #97 to #91 - kingrui (04/19/2013) [-]
Yes but, Cat has redhair and Ned has black hair and only Sansa and maybe Robb are redhair, so its still plausible that Jon be a targaryen with black hair.

And dont worry, there's no spoilers from ADwD in my theory, but i recommend you to finish the book because the end is amazing
User avatar #103 to #97 - retardedboss (04/19/2013) [-]
I planned on it. I guess I let the show taint my vision of Ned, I always think of him with dark brown hair.

Still no word on benjen though, he could be coldhands, but I don't think he is. They just refer back to him way too much for him to be simply dead.
User avatar #107 to #103 - kingrui (04/19/2013) [-]
I don't believe Benjen is coldhands and when George R.R. Martin dont write on the books that someone is dead, this person is not dead. For me hes just north collecting dragonglass that the First Men left for future generations for a future war against the white walkers, this is just my crazy theory though
User avatar #109 to #107 - retardedboss (04/20/2013) [-]
Yeah, I also have a hard time believing Brienne is dead, but that's just me. It's weird when you have a POV of someones death, like with Asha.

One thing that solidifies my feeling though is when Cat get's her throat slit at the red wedding she dies, but she doesn't really die, Martin brings her back as lady stoneheart.

Unless he makes it really really clear that they're dead, I will never be certain of it.

Romulus and Remus is a legend symbolizing Rome's right to rule. Your move, sir
User avatar #29 to #28 - Loppytaffy (04/19/2013) [-]
It's a true story of two boys who created an Empire.

well, actually, one of them created the empire. The other was ont he receiving end of sibling rivalry.
User avatar #30 to #29 - smilingpyro (04/19/2013) [-]
"When Romulus and Remus became adults, they decided to found a city where the wolf had found them. The brothers quarrelled over where the site should be and Remus was killed by his brother. This left Romulus the sole founder of the new city and he gave his name to it – Rome. The date given for the founding of Rome is 753 BC.

This story, of course, is only a legend. The actual growth of Rome is less exotic and interesting. The city of Rome grew out of a number of settlements that existed around seven hills that were near the River Tiber. The settlements were near the river for the obvious reasons of a water supply. The Tiber was also narrow enough at this point to be bridged. However, the area also suffered because of the nearness of the river. Each settlement was separated from the other by marshland. Each individual settlement was vulnerable to attack as a single settlement. By joining together they were stronger. To join together, the marshland had to be drained. This was something that took years to do. The legend of Romulus and Remus gives the impression that Rome was created very quickly; the truth was very different.

The early people of Rome were from a tribe called Latins. They were from the Plains of Latium. The Latins were successful farmers and traders and they became rich and successful. Therefore, Rome from its early days was a rich city. This was to create jealousy and to bring the city of Rome into conflict with areas surrounding the city. In particular, the Romans fought against the Etruscans and the Samnites."
