It's rude, people put personal hygiene things in medicine cabinets. Ointments...medications for various things, maybe like an STD..a mental illness like ADD etc etc. A variety of things you can find out about someone just by looking in there. If they live alone, there's no real reason to hide it elsewhere so you would probably find all these things in there. It's also snooping around, why look in there anyway? You're there to use the bathroom/wash your hands. No reason to look in there unless you want to be sneaky and try to find out **** about the person. Not cool.

Okay, I understand it is rude to look through peoples things like that and all. But, if I was on a date with someone and I found pills to calm a mental illness or STD creams, I would want to know. Like, I don't want to be at dinner with the person and they flip **** and grab the knife and stab me screaming "YOU DESRVE EVERY BLOODY MOMENT OF THIS" because they forgot to take their happy pills that morning. About the STD cream, I might not marry said person, so I wouldn't want to leave the relationship with a never forgettable gift from them. I wouldn't mind if someone went through mine honestly. Not like I would know.

You are aware that mental illness doesn't automatically make you a murderous time bomb if you forget your meds right?

All the most common ones largely just debilitate the mentally ill person him/herself if (s)he forgets to take the meds.

I know that. But I do not know if they are in that category or not. Either way I don't want to be in a relationship with a girl and she be psycho. But, where can you find a girl like that nowadays? Amirite?

I would argue that having a mental illness in some form or other doesn't necessarily make you not worthwhile to be with and it certainly doesn't make you a bad person. Quite frankly discarding a potential date over some mental diagnosis is narrow minded sir.

Especially considering that a vast amount of mental illnesses fall under the cathegory of high functional diagnoses, which is basically people with next to no symptoms if they take their meds and only light-medium and largely harmless/at most annoying ones if they don't take them.

Hell the most common permanent mental diagnoses' primary symptom does, for most practical concerns, equate to some sort of social weakness or poor social skills. If that is the case then you've probably already worked your way around the issue if you're on a date with him/her unless you decide to make an issue out of the source of the social skill shortcomings.

Honestly I was just joking around here. I thought that was clear when I said ""YOU DESERVE EVERY BLOODY MOMENT OF THIS""
Sorry bro.

Fair enough then, my apologies for not realizing.

A lot of little reasons. Along with the things listed below, it also implies you might be the type to steal medication.

Girl went on a date. She looked in her date's medicine cabinet. This is what she found there.

Invasion of privacy. Medication cabinets can reveal things about a person's physical or psychological health that the bathroom owner doesn't feel comfortable having others know about.
