Just think about it. If you don't get it, look at tags... Took me way too long to get this, cause we didn't learn about the FOIL acronym in maths. your Plan has been foiled

I don't want to be that guy, but...
(PL)(AN) = PLAN
(P+L)(A+N) = PA + LA + PN + LN

What the **** is the foil acronym?
User avatar #5 to #4 - scant (04/17/2013) [-]
First, Outer, Inner, Last
It's an acronym you learn to help with expanding expressions in brackets, like (x+2)(x+5).

Or you could just use logic...

How the **** would anyone be able to logic out expansion of brackets?
User avatar #8 to #7 - ningyoaijin (04/18/2013) [-]
By not being retarded?

So you're telling me, if you had only a basic knowledge of mathematics and algebra, you'd be able to look at a bracketed expression like that and think to yourself "Oh, obviously i have to multiply it in this convoluted way"?
User avatar #10 to #9 - ningyoaijin (04/19/2013) [-]
It's... Not convoluted... I worked it out in primary school before being taught, because it's obvious.
