Its a coffee shop/donut store/sandwich parlour and is now moving onto ice cream. We worship Tim Horton like a God.

Its pretty awesome, I swear they hire monkeys to work there. Once, my friend and I ordered two teas like milk and sugar and stuff... yes all the milk and sugar was put into one tea with the other left plain.

There was 4 sugars and 5 milks in that tea. The **** Timmies.

dont try to include france in anything about progress, theyre retarded and dont get english, they dub everything
User avatar #49 to #37 - Loppytaffy (04/11/2013) [-]
...Pretty sure they speak French in France. And everything is dubbed into English, too.
User avatar #226 to #49 - admiralen (04/12/2013) [-]
i mean they dub everything into french, most of them dont know english which is pretty much the accepted world language, its a backwards country
User avatar #227 to #226 - Loppytaffy (04/12/2013) [-]
French came first. The reason most of the world knows English is because the English speaking world is too proud, ignorant or stupid to be fluent in a latin language.
User avatar #228 to #227 - admiralen (04/12/2013) [-]
no, the reason everyone knows english is cause english is a language everyone knows, france is to damn proud, both brittain and usa full english speaking countries, they matter france didnt, france is just behind in retarded "rivalry" with england
User avatar #229 to #228 - Loppytaffy (04/12/2013) [-]
English came from French, Danish and German! And USA speaks English because they came from ******* England in 1607 and drove out the French, Dutch, Germanic, Spanish, Finnish, Swedish and Danish. Scotland and Wales speak English because we conquered them. Canada speaks English in some parts because the English took Canada from France after Prussia lost the Seven Years War. Seychelles speaks a mix of English and French, as does South Africa. Australia, gosh darn it I wonder why they speak English?

And French is taught in nearly every High School and Academy in England (German, Spanish, Italian and some other languages are taught language specific academies like Brine Leas Academy in Cheshire. Some like Shavington High School switch between German and French every year). The French speak fantastic English, I'll have you know. And I have most wonderful conversations with Danes, Germans and Italians, in English, and learn words that I didn't know.
User avatar #231 to #229 - admiralen (04/12/2013) [-]
they all came from latin so stop it with that, they conquered brittain from the celts. and it doesnt really matter where it came from its the world language now
User avatar #232 to #231 - Loppytaffy (04/12/2013) [-]
France and Scotland had an agreemant to have eachother's backs if England started misbehaving. Scotland was never conquered by France.

Pretty sure Russian came from Russian, actually. And the Nordic languages from Danish. Japanese from Chinese.
User avatar #233 to #232 - admiralen (04/12/2013) [-]
un deux trois, one two three, ett två tre, they are all languages that have extreme influences from latin, reason japanese and chinese doesnt is cause the two parts of the continent didnt come in contact much (forgive my spelling, i dont really care that much about it) besides, pretty much only country with original language in europe is finland
User avatar #234 to #233 - Loppytaffy (04/12/2013) [-]
Finland was ruled by Denmark for a long time, and Sweden a long time after that. Finnish is very DennoSwedish.

If you've got the money, Vancouver is the place to go. It's beautiful and has everything.

For skiing, Whistler.
For surfing, Long Beach (on the island)
For golf, like a million courses everywhere.
For parks, Stanley Park.
For beaches, English Bay.

Plus the weed is fresh from the source.

There's a reason they call it La-La land.

Agreed, life is pretty ******* awesome here. I'm Vancouver, and Vancouver is amazing. If you've got a car you can just take an hour drive and go cliff jumping into the ocean or hiking up mountains and **** . We've got a shocking amount of culturally unassimilated ESL foreigners which can be a bummer when everyone on the trains are speaking a different language. But downtown and Burnaby are awesome and full of "Canadian" people who aren't just here to exploit our economy. I'd highly recommend it. I don't want to live anywhere where there isn't ocean and mountains ever again.
