Confederates were more accurate than union soldiers.

It was 90 degrees out, but he was a trooper and stayed in character.

Explain to me everything you know about Reenacting I am curious.
User avatar #42 to #40 - brandonsharklow (04/10/2013) [-]
everything? really? well lets see here. of reenacting, **** can be expensive. rifles will cost you a **** ton. depending on where you buy them it can cost anywhere from 700-1500 for a good UNUSED rifle. pistols are cheeper, but not by much. Now if you get into this hobby, be prepared to travel, alot. you also will need a way to haul your gear, so get a trailer or a truck with a big bed. But after all the **** you have to go through, it is a really fun hobby. everyone i have met enjoys what they do. it is a good hobby to meet new people and make new friends. if there is anything else you would like to know or have any questions, feel free to ask them.

As a reenactor, i agree with brandonsharklow. It is a lot of fun, but it can be an expensive hobby. The gear is a bit pricey when you first start, the uniforms definitely take some getting used to, and the traveling can be rough, but other than that it is a ton of fun. You get to go a lot of cool places and see some amazing things and people. You'll make lots of life long friends and get to have a lot of fun.
