What if I told you

People born in the nineties generally don't remember anything from the nineties, but from the early 00s instead.
User avatar #6 to #5 - ojenais (04/09/2013) [-]
that depends, for like 96-99 that is true, but at least for 90-93 or 94 would remember **** , they were 6 or older in 2000
#7 to #6 - lesmiserables (04/09/2013) [-]
I'm from 1994 and I vaguely remember Power Rangers and that's it. The shows like Ed, Edd'n'Eddy, Courage the Cowardly dog etc. are all probably memories from 01, 02, 03.
User avatar #8 to #7 - ojenais (04/09/2013) [-]
I'm born late 95, and have few strong memories of typical "90's stuff", but as I said, 90-94 will remember stuff at least
#9 to #8 - lesmiserables (04/09/2013) [-]
And as I said, I'm from march, '94, and I don't remember anything but reruns in the 00's.
#38 to #5 - anon (04/10/2013) [-]
Born mid 1990, I do actually remember 90's ********** . Especially Cartoon Network's Tom And Jerry, Jetsons, Flintstones, old TMNT etc.. So yeah..
#52 to #38 - lesmiserables (04/10/2013) [-]
What you remember is probably reruns.
#39 to #5 - saladtongsofdeath (04/10/2013) [-]
what if i told you

i was born in 1987 so i remember the 90s
#51 to #39 - lesmiserables (04/10/2013) [-]
Then you are not born in the nineties.
#103 to #51 - saladtongsofdeath (04/10/2013) [-]
i never said i was born in the 90s, i just said that i remember the 90s better than the 90s kids do
#104 to #103 - lesmiserables (04/10/2013) [-]
Then what is your point? Of course you remember the nineties if you were born in '87. That's like if I said that I remember the 00's.
#105 to #104 - saladtongsofdeath (04/10/2013) [-]
look at the comment i commented on... then look at my comment

Yeah, that's my comment. That's why I answered you... I still don't get what your point is.

i remember the 90s because i was old enough to remember them

I think everyone who was alive in 1990 remember "the 90's". That's pretty ******* obvious.

God yes, all amazing artists. I always regret having been born in the 90's as opposed to the early 80's. Thank god for my parents' musical influence, having not been exposed to it first hand.

if you were born between 1980 and 1995 you are a 90s kid. if before you remember the 90s. if after you are too young to remember enough.

I understand this was a joke I am just ranting about facebook fags

"Like this if you love your mom, Ignore this if you want your mom to die" or "Like dis if u wish cancer never egsisted, Ignore if u dnt care" posts.

Like really? I don't need to like a stupid picture to acknowledge that I love my mom.
Mfw I see one of those ******* stupid posts.

no, seriously. even though most of the users on the website are in that age range (Even me, 98 also.), we don't say it, due to the fact that we're gonna be pelted to oblivion with red thumbs! I'll stay here and stand with you to soften the blow, they can only thumb one of us.

User avatar #85 - thesilence (04/10/2013) [-]
Why do people go on about how the '90s were so great? Nothing in the '90s just disappeared as soon as we hit the year 2000. I still see a lot of old '90s programs on TV channels. People need to take off their rose-tinted glasses because the '90s weren't as amazing as everyone says they were, they're just used as a way for young adults nowadays to to pull the "Ohh, back in my day there was ___" thing around kids.

I think 1988-1993 are the only acceptable years to call yourself a 90's kid. I was born in 92 and barely remember things up 96. So as far as memories I mainly remember 98 and up. Just like a lot of people, I experienced 90's media in the early 2000's.

I.e Just because you were born in the 90's, doesn't necessarily make you a "90's kid".
