was first female prime minister of the UK

and was leader during the Falkland Wars against agrentina and won keeping out island in british control

she passed alot of thing during her leadership that changed the country, e.g peace with ireland, shutting of the coal mines and new tax types that would of been alot fairer and would of stopped the **** we are in now

it was a rough political time for the uk, read up on it, its good. hope this helped

Look up Poll Tax. That WASNT fair. The rich and poor pay the same taxes no matter what. What seems like nothing to the rich, would be loads to the very low classes. Rich would stay rich, poor would get poorer.

I'd like to point out that in Canada you never really learn about politics unless you watch the news or something. It's rarely talked about in school unless it's Kim Jong Un threatening everyone or some **** . It's just not taught.
