Picking a character name requires more thought, effort and dedication than finishing the bloody game.

I'm sorry, but taking turns in a fight is the most retarded concept I've ever seen in a game.

Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, Mass Effect, Fallout.

Hell some of the best RPG's i've ever played and they aren't Japanese.

I miss when campaigns would take like half a week even if you played continuously.

I think the biggest difference between them is patience.

RPG's are for patient gamers, FPS' usually are not.

Not all RPGs take long to make your character, unless you're seriously confused

When ever I make a character in Saints Row 3 or The Sims 3, I make them look awful.
But in Fallout 3 and Skyrim, I make them look badass, even though in Fallout 3 and Skyrim you barely see them. And in Saints Row 3 and The Sims, you see them all the time.

Am I the only one that does this?

I find it funny how the most time I ever spent on creating a character wasn't in an RPG, it was in Saints Row 3, I didn't quit til I got everything perfect... and then my co-op buddy changes some features slightly but still looked pretty defaulty... I was so dissapointed.

Also Scottish voice 24/7

I honestly have never spent more than ~15 minutes on making a character.

Especially in a game like Skyrim, where you don't even see em'.
