Bikes were made to be $1 above the maximum amount of money you could have in the game, so you can never outright buy one! But there's always some dude who gives you one for no reason :P

Perhaps the bike is so expensive because it is made from a material that never breaks, and pokeballs sometimes break while catching pokemon with a high level.

I always thought the bike was 1,000,000 and you could only get up to 999,999.

-wtf is this subatomic bullshit? does this person even know what that means? What makes most sense is they are stored virtually similar to the way the PCs work

It's like comparing a mobile phone with a car
One can access the largest database in history filled with an incredible amount of the sum of human knowledge, can provide entertainment, social needs, global up to date information (from international news to current weather), can record video, photo, audio, most available (and readily available) books, and is most used in case of emergencies (calling the police/ambulance/fire department, or looking up how to solve a lesser emergency by yourself)

And the other gets you from point A to point B faster than walking.

is it bad that the only thing i thought of when i saw this was that they didn't factor in exchange rates for pokedollars and pounds?
User avatar #21 to #14 - kingarturi (04/08/2013) [-]
No i questioned the exchange rate of a pokedollar and a Canadian dollar myself.

I've never known a pokemon game to use pounds.

But here's an interesting fact; due to EU gamblign laws, the slots game was taken out of SS/HG for the European releases, and instead you play voltorb flip and cannot buy coins.
