You could make a camera sounds like the most advanced ******* thing to somebody in the 1800s

A box with a single button that can capture a painting more detailed then any known piece of art in the world
$25

Glasses with a logo
$300

Perhaps the bike is so expensive because it is made from a material that never breaks, and pokeballs sometimes break while catching pokemon with a high level.

But there's only one in all of Kanto, Cerulean, where she and her sisters grew up.

I think we're mixing the game and the anime too much. In the anime, the towns were much bigger, and there should be more bike stores.
User avatar #54 - gragasvlad (04/08/2013) [-]
thats because you are supposed to get the bike with the help of magic

its a videogame ******* .

It's like comparing a mobile phone with a car
One can access the largest database in history filled with an incredible amount of the sum of human knowledge, can provide entertainment, social needs, global up to date information (from international news to current weather), can record video, photo, audio, most available (and readily available) books, and is most used in case of emergencies (calling the police/ambulance/fire department, or looking up how to solve a lesser emergency by yourself)

And the other gets you from point A to point B faster than walking.

I posted before finishing my point

Yet one is far more expensive than the other. It's all a matter of how easily you can manufacture and ship your product.

Why does everyone call it pokedollars? The symbol is a P with two horizontal lines through it (like the yen), it's a game from japan and the denomination of money is worth MUCH closer to one yen than an american dollar. I always called it pokeyen when I was a kid.
