Thanks to the Magic School Bus, I always thought that if you go to Pluto and took off your helmet, your head would just freeze into a block of ice; then you could just thaw it out back on Earth.

It took way too much of my life to realize the TV lied to me.

However I still wonder what it would actually look like...

The indians call it 'cold' because not only is a large majority of the population in poverty, living in houses made of tin sheets and wood (possibly with minimal electricity), but also almost every building in south-east asia (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan) has no heating mechanism because it's usually relatively warm there, even during the winter. That's why even 9C outside could potentially kill someone there (Imagine living outdoors for weeks in that temperature wearing no jacket, and light clothes)

Aw yes. But when its 15 degrees in Denmark everyone complains about the heat, while in Calcutta people will be whereing sweaters.

Also OP, take it into account that people are poor in Calcutta people are too poor to afford heaters.

I remember when the local news channels were going crazy for days about how the weather in L.A county was dropping to the low forties.

Different people in different regions are adapted to different temperatures and can't really cope with the temperature being what their not used to, so quit competing/bitching about it.
User avatar #175 to #150 - shadowhorn (04/07/2013) [-]
but still, everyone's body has a certain capacity to tolerate temperatures. how can you feel cold at 48 degrees?
User avatar #180 to #175 - bonboy (04/07/2013) [-]
The capacities to tolerate temperatures vary from person to person. Your question is your opinion. For example; I find 48 degrees to be a little chilly, my mom will find it freezing, while my cousin from New York might find it warm.
User avatar #57 - srskate (04/07/2013) [-]
Just saying, different races have different cold tolerance by far.

I run track at a school with a varied population, and it shows. All the white people such as myself call 48 degrees F nice, all the puerto ricans are freezing, and the blacks are in between.

This just in.

Cold weather in a tropical like area is more harmful that cold weather in a tundra.

More new at 11, will OP ever stop sucking cocks?
