I don't know about the rest of the world, but in my circle of gamers we play a lot of 'lan'. This means setting up a bunch of tv's and consoles somewhere, such as an accommodating restaurant, and play games on a local network without internet access.

While I usually have wifi always present with me in the form of a 4G hotspot, when the game is between friends or when I'm by myself I usually will prefer not to connect.

**** DRM, and **** inconvenience. That's what it ******* boils down to. ************** inconvenience.

PC gaming and Pirating is the solution

I purposefully pirated easports' games after the drm **** with sim city 4 just to help **** them a little.

I will never buy any incomplete game that requires the internet to play. The only game like *that* that I play is runescape, and that's only because my money is well spent per month revamping and updating the game... and this summer that game won't have it's always on requirement either, and you'll be able to play offline.

The only excuse for online gaming is for when the game takes place on massive servers that are beyond the capabilites of a normal machine to support (e.i. several hundred plays online). These game require subscriptions to keep the servers running. It's when the game has zero ******* need for neither subcriptions nor 'always online' gaming and yet tries to get away with both that I get so livid that I see red for the next several days.

User avatar #3 to #2 - konradkurze (04/05/2013) [-]
idk which ones they were, just one had an italian character, one had a russian, and one had a black guy
all 3 felt like playing the same game
#4 to #3 - turdofdoom (04/05/2013) [-]
you are kinda right about that but
i dunno about that black one tho
the black guy might be from san andreas and imo
san andreas is the best gta in most ways exept from graphics i guess

main thing i remember was the vehicles kept ******* rolling over any time you took a corner at any speed over 40

even heavy vehicles like trucks and police wagons....hello...the things weight ******* tons, how would they just roll over on simple turns
#6 to #5 - turdofdoom (04/05/2013) [-]
i dont remember that
exept for maby the gta 4 series when they implemented the new physics
and ragdoll caracter animations.
if i drove into the pavement while turning i would flip over

nah you don't roll in gta san andreas unless another car hits you very hard...
Played that game a lot on multiplayer too "cops and robbers" is the best mod in that
