Just saying this once, let the thumbs roll as they may.

It's not Obama's fault the US in in such a way. It has taken about FOUR presidencies to make it like it is. ONE isn't going to immediately fix everything and you're an idiot if you think it will. Let me break it down.

While obama IS the President, everything he tries to pass HAS to go through the two houses, one led the republicans and one led by democrats. And What are the two houses doing? Revising anything he tries to pass so that they each get something beneficial from it and then fighting over one side anting too much. Are they wondering about how the REST of America feels about it like they SHOULD BE? No they're not. It's like most (not all) of them forgot that they are there to represent the CONSTITUENTS (the people).

So anything The President does is eventually twisted and changed by the houses so much that it ends up not what the president wanted. And for your information, Obama has tried putting things through that actually help the PEOPLE of america, which is needed.

Faults:
1. Yes his nice guy routine wont get him very far with these old tempermental politicians
2. Yes his ideas are new and scry to most old people who are used to things being a certain way forever.
3. Yes politicians call him socialist.

But:
1. At least he's trying for the PEOPLE.
2. The "Old ways" that all of these politicians are used to are what is driving us into the ground. The "Old ways" dont work with our current time because things dont work the same way again.
3. They are lashing out because his ideas conflict with theirs.

solution?:

Maybe we need a complete system reboot. Just retire all of the politicians out and fill the seats with younger politicians with newer schooling and newer understanding of the nation. No more rivalries because some democrat did something in 1986 that the republicans wont forget. It's childish and it's tearing the nation apart.

Done with the rant. Thank you and goodnight.

He had a great way of doing things. Getting both ehads of houses together to make laws. But he did make mistakes. It's sad but nobody is perfect. I still like the man though.
User avatar #355 to #344 - appleboom (04/05/2013) [-]
At least your a democrat (or so it seems by what you post). I agree with what the republican party says they stand for, but the people that represent me are just like how I'm a brony, but most of the internet knows ponies for the overabundance of R34.

Single-handedly, is he?
It's funny how most USA citizens think that presidents have this much power.
"ruining".
This crysis is nothing but a trend, part of a pattern that repeats itself.
We've had it already: the 90s, the 70s, the 20s, and so forth.
That's how economy goes, despite what most people think.
Please stop behaving as if these were the worst years to live in ever.

And for humanity as awhole, this is the worst time ever. The global warming crisis threatens everybody and anybody. And every living thing. Don't you think that even if it harms, 1 million, 2 millio, hell maybe even 500 million people somebody should do something. But it's effecting 7 billion people, and possible trillions of different lives. All the animals that have gone extinnt for what? Tv and AC. I love those things, that's why we NEED implement alternative fuel sources before it's to late. becuase it takes time to change EVERYTHIGN AMERICA RUNS ON. So we start now while we still have time instad of panicing and socioty collapsing becuase we run out of oil and nobody knows what to do, because out public education system.

SO MANY THINGS wron with the world. You can either ignore it, and kill off everybody. Or work together and make a difference.

we're not only affecting our economy, but we're dystroying others. And look at our youth! Where I live. 12 year olds are sucking dicks and begging for cum. LITTERALLY. The global oil crisis which America is pretty much responsible for. The problem isn't one single thing. It's everything. You can't change everything, so you need to change 1, and watch the dominos fall. Pretty much the price our our plastic exsistance is litterally killing us.

Do we really have no other choice? I don't know man, Congress is the one that holds the last word and I bet you don't know half of the people in congress. Most americans have no idea of who is in congress and what they believe. But since everyone knows the president, we can all blame him for everything.
Protip - get to know your congressman and get more involved in congress elections when they roll around.

Oh, then let's do nothing at all. I'm sure congressmen elect themselves and out of the hundredths of people working at congress they are all evil and only do what they want. They obviously don't give a **** about any of their districs. Jesus Christ man, stop watching movies.
#320 to #313 - AnotherPornStar (04/05/2013) [-]
Dude, think about how **** has been going the past few years. Your vote doesn't matter, the elections are rigged. The banks are what controls everything. The federal reserve is in charge of all paper cash and they don't get voted in or changed as time passes. Our government decided to create a completely new branch that isn't accountable to the people. If you wanna keep thinking that Congress isn't in on it, when they've already shown corruption by changing their own salaries, then have fun with that. You've got plenty of other people that think the way you do. You might think of me as some crazy conspiracy theorist, but that stigma only exists in America. If you go to Europe and show them evidence of the corruption of their government, then they're open-minded enough to consider it possible. Americans are indoctrinated from the start to believe in Congress and The House of Representatives and the President. All I'm saying is that people need to research more in what's happening with America's foreign relations, arm themselves to defend their family should something bad happen, and be prepared. Because something is going to happen in within the next decade or so, and it's not gonna be easy. The signs are there, you just have to look for them. www.youtube.com/user/StormCloudsGathering And this is all I'm gonna say on it becuase I think that its pathetic that this is such a sensitive ******* subject

I said the same thing about the last 3 presidents. It's not exactly an easy job, a lot of what they do is dictated by circumstance of their presidency and what we the people want at the time, and just in general I'd like to see one of us do better. I liked Bill, wasn't too bothered by the fact that he was a horny bastard, hell so am I. George made me laugh, in a good way, and he actually did a lot of good with the bad (even though people only saw the bad through media and towards the end of his presidency). Barack is bringing charisma back to the whitehouse, I hope his presidency humanizes the position a bit. I may not like a lot that he stands for, but hes not a bad guy. None of them were handed a perfect America, and they are not the single solitary person that screwed us (its takes a lot more than one man to make policy come to fruition) I'm not saying I couldn't gripe endlessly about each president, but occasionally I like to remember that they are human too.

Exactly, there's a lot of responsibilty, I don't think I could do it
And I don't think that he would make people unhappy on purpose, but you can't please everyone like you said
But yeah he is a good guy and I respect him

90% of english politics is people insulting each other's plans/personal life/mother, 10% is them taking the time to squeeze as much money out of everyone as possible and then saying that their way of money squeezing is better than it would be if the other party was squeezing money out of us.
