I work in a DVD shop inside a shopping mall, and one day a few weeks ago, a pigeon found it's way into our shop. For obvious reasons, I wanted to get the pidgeon out of the shop ASAP, especially as the shopping mall has a policy that if it can't get birds out of the centre before the end of the day, they call a guy with a gun to come and kill it.
Anyway, the pigeon was perched on the overhanging light fixtures, and every time I would approach it, it would move to another one.
After a few attempts to try and catch it using a cardboard box, I was creeping close to where it was perched when a customer made loud noises to shoo it away, causing it to fly up high where I can't reach.
When I looked to her for an explination, she said "Aw, just leave it where it is, it isn't doing any harm." To which I replied, "True, but I'd like to get it out before it makes a mess." To which her response was, "Well, you've got a mop haven't you?"
Of course I was pissed off, but I held my tongue and went back to work. After a few minutes, she turned to leave, at which point, that awesome pidgeon took a **** on her ******* head.
She complained to my manager when I burst out laughing, but he told her it was her own fault and gave me a high five.
Interfering bitch got what she deserved.

(Pic related: MFW she stuck her ******* nose in)

Related: I shoot pigeons out of the silo when hunting seasons are close. They are rats with wings.

No, luckily, it found it's own way out of the shop about an hour later and security caught it in the shopping centre and released it.

no, that means she was giving him a tip on how to deal with the bird

No, it was clear by her tone that she meant that if it were to make a mess by crapping all over the shop, and very likely the tshirt display that it was perched above, that I had a mop to clean it up.

Where do you live where they still have DVD shops?
User avatar #212 to #63 - trishaferr (04/05/2013) [-]
In merry olde England, of course! Though I suppose we're not just a DVD shop, we also sell CDs, games, tshirts, records, games consoles & record players.

I would have told her that she just got the pigeon killed, because now if it doesn't get out, a guy comes and shoots it.

What the **** did she think you were going to do when you DID catch it? Put it on a spit and roast it?

If she was one of the rich snooty people I see a lot around my state (CT), she would have thought the bird would have made a fine dinner for his wife and 23 children.

wait, so if birds find themselves in a mall they are killed?

I know, it's horrible, that's why I was so eager to catch it and release it outside before the end of the day.
