Where I'm from Sony prevents readmits from being given to customers for their movies. When asked why, the manager said that they make almost nothing off movie tickets, if they didn't sell concessions they'd go bankrupt within a month.

Now you know why the snacks are so much.

Also, their employees are paid minimum wage - they work skeleton crews as much as they can so they can avoid heavy operating costs (so each employee has a lot of work) on top of that too. Employees at movie theatres are really ******.

And you're just a ******* lazy asshole.

In America the ticket money goes to the movie makers.
Theaters only make money off of the concessions.
