User avatar #15 to #14 - thetellerofstories (04/04/2013) [-]
no they just had it only available through mail but since the last show alternation a bunch of old cartoons and movies were added. like one of my favorite shows, samurai jack.

BATMAN BEYOND IS ON NETFLIX NOW
OH MY *******
User avatar #16 - wottafella (04/04/2013) [-]
Dubstep was formed from garage music in the UK, Skrillex on the other hand, is a ******* talentless **** who cannot create music using any sound programs and all his songs are complete **** , even my **** dropping in the water can make better dubstep than his ******* dubstep.
User avatar #17 to #16 - djbagboy (04/04/2013) [-]
In what ways is he a talentless **** ? Please expand on it. I am not a big fan of him, but I don't understand all the hate.
User avatar #18 to #17 - wottafella (04/04/2013) [-]
Well, I listen to dubstep and dubstep has a flow to it, like a vibe, where as skrillex is like the songbird backed up by 30 alpha model big daddies gang banging in your ear as well as eachother. In othere words, he has no flow to his work, he just mashes up everything together and ruined the theme of dubstep, introducing a whole load of different-steps, which had ruined music industry completely. If you want good dubstep here are some links:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAkoQv3T2E4

www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOttZSnzG7s

www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q9rewnLFYw

Then compare these to Skrillex's, which i won't post, the sight of his insignia or artwork cover just makes me want to kill myself.

Would it be to much for me to ask you to make a playlist of songs to link to me? I am always interested in broadening my music horizons and I like what you posted. Please sir, may I have some moar?
User avatar #24 to #21 - wottafella (04/04/2013) [-]
Do you want just these artists or you want me to through you about 20 different songs?
User avatar #26 to #24 - lanfear (04/04/2013) [-]
what ever you like, what ever is good :) doesn't need to be the same artist.
User avatar #32 to #26 - wottafella (04/04/2013) [-]

Thank you very much for your time and recommendations :) Getting the start of a new/different music genre is the hardest part, especially when you don't know where to look.

I know and love all these artists. But Skrillex never defined himself, and he is American Dubstep. All the atists you showed are British. It's a different type of music, though most just call it Brostep.
You can't tell me these songs aren't good:
Slats Slats Slats: A great example of Complextro
www.youtube.com/watch?v=PE3IslWaB4E
Leaving: Future Garage, surpirse surprise. Very Burial like
www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_8xfmxea2M
With You, Friends (Long Drive): A amazing house song. The vibe, the whole feeling of the song is chill and flows.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=fq-geJ9UwG4
All I Ask of You: A house song, close to what artists like Zedd make.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzEgrNigZdw
You say he is a talentless **** , though you only focus on his most mainstream type of music, American Dubstep. It's not his fault everyone considers him dubstep.
User avatar #27 to #19 - wottafella (04/04/2013) [-]
Well, his dubstep is more famous...
User avatar #29 to #27 - djbagboy (04/04/2013) [-]
Which is something even he gets annoyed by. That;s why he is trying to make more experimental music, to keep the real fans.

as long as he avoids trying to make it dark and deep, than he'll be more in the clear.
User avatar #25 to #19 - lanfear (04/04/2013) [-]
same question to you sir, if you have any other recommendations?
User avatar #35 to #25 - djbagboy (04/04/2013) [-]
Here's my reccomendations for different types of music:
Brostep/Harder Dubstep:
Krewella - Their kinda slutty-pop artists, but they have some deep basses that are great
iNexus: Deep, Crazy, Bass.
Excision/Downlink/Dastik: These three are rarely mentioned apart, they all make some amazing, but bassy songs. They ditch melodies in favor of drops and bass.
Zomboy: Pretty much Skrillex, but more dirty, wet sounding basses.
Dubstep:
Flux Pavillion: Great drops, and very dancy dubstep. Though his drops sound alike.
Doctor P: Like Flux, but with more poppng basses. Dancy and loud.
Tristam: Smaller guy, great dubstep.
Seven Lions: Amazing dubstep, more smooth then droppy
Knife Party: Great Drops, soem dancy songs some bassy some just flat out crazy.
House:
Zedd: Kinda Poppy Electro
Avacii: Dance.
Ramses B: Smooth, clear sounds.
Rogue: Dubish house
deadmau5: Great, though it takes time to like his stuff
Swedish House Mafia: Dancy
Daft Punk: Gods among EDM
Other:
Burial: A amazing artist. Unique, dark sounds. Not for parties, rather for solo listening
Mt. Eden: Dubstepish, but more deep then droppy.

Dubstep seperated in U.S and British dubstep? Wow, thats kind of a shock to me now...
User avatar #28 to #20 - djbagboy (04/04/2013) [-]
It was first started when Rusko said he was mad he created "Brostep".
User avatar #31 to #28 - wottafella (04/04/2013) [-]
Rusko performs "British dubstep" if it aint, well than...
