I thought the B-2 was based on a German plane called the Horten Ho-229 rather than a Falcon.

Yes, and no.

Yes, the B-2 is based on the Germans (successful) attempt on a flying wing stealth bomber, and a thumb to you for proving I was not the only one aware of this.

And no. The B-2 side profile is like that of a birds because of the needed profile of the airfoil for a flying wing style aircraft. (only different from other aircraft as the airfoil usually only pertains to the wings) Birds also have this characteristic shape when viewed from the side, naturally.

I know ur source

Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit - innovation inspired by nature.

Other examples of technology being inspired by the natural world include:
- Velcro, which is inspired by burrs.
- Improved wind turbines, which are inspired by fins, tails and flippers.
- Tidal power systems, inspired by swimming fish.
-Efficient color electronic screens, inspired by butterfly wings.
- Robotic spy place known at the COM-BAT, inspired by bats.

Natural selection is extraordinarily efficient.

Let's be fair here, it takes countless generations for each characteristic to be fine tuned into perfection, and there is still variation and flaws despite this. While it IS amazing, it's not exactly what i'd call efficient

I beg to differ.
This is merely the successful result of one of my forays into the Warp. Though the four cannot be swayed, many of their minions are rather co-operative with me.

#46 to #45 - krasnogvardiech (04/03/2013) [-]
Heh. He's got a good head on his shoulders, but he isn't a miracle worker. This giant tin can was designed by me, and sadly none of these incompetent idiots blundering about in its innards are doing anything helpful. As for the Eye? ... Well, he's not out of the fight. Let me assure you of that. Vulkan and Corax, not to mention Jaghatai too... and Roboute's still stuck in that statis field. A lot of work to do, isn't it?
But enough listening to me ramble. You return to the fight, Blood Fang, and you fight for Mankind, if not your Lord.
