i'm for gay marriage. But, i believe that these analogies are stupid as **** . To a highly religious person, not being able to park a car is not the same as spending an eternity in the fiery torment of hell.

Fair point, but still it would be me, as the gay person, who would be spending my life in hell, not the hypothetical religious person, so technically their life is still not affected

That's a fair point fellow Mare-Man. If they think the gay will be spending an eternity in fiery hell, then why can't they let them enjoy their lives on earth..

exactly. I agree, but i feel like the analogy is a bit sketchy.
