The worst part about hostess closing down is the fact that men can no longer seductively stuff delicious creame filled yellow cylinders in their mouths while simultaneously enjoying delicious food snacks :(

That's stupid, everyone knows happiness works like Highlander where destroying somebody else's happiness makes yours stronger.

His kids are adorable. And if she fell, I know he'd throw himself face first onto the ground to catch her.

I hate the argument that gay couples can't raise kids.

I'm a conservative right-wing Christian Republican and I even think gays should marry or at least have a formal union of the same status. I despise homosexuality, but not homosexuals; love the sinner, hate the sin. They pay their taxes, serve their communities and give their lives protecting this country, its people and its constitution like heterosexuals do.

Speaking of which the last time I read it it stated that all people have the unalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

tl;dr-gays are like any other American and should be recognized as such

I'm saying I wish more people with my beliefs could be more tolerant and that not all of us are close-minded racist hicks that people make us out to be.
#163 to #86 - anon (03/27/2013) [-]
but what gays are asking is that the government force churches to recognize them as a marriage. which is against the churches right to deny the gays as a legitimate marriage. its called freedom of religion people. i honestly dont care if you are gay. just dont ask me to invade others freedoms just so that so that you can feel equal. in the eyes of the government gays are legal. any gay couple can enter a civil union if they wish. look it up people.
#169 to #163 - anon (03/27/2013) [-]
Making gay marriage legal doesn't force churches to marry gay people you ******* retard. You think marriage is only a Christian thing or what? They're asking for the right to have a legal marriage, that doesn't mean it has to be done by a church ******* .
It doesn't have to have anything to do with a church or christianity.

#205 to #86 - anon (03/28/2013) [-]
Just kinda nit-picking, but the constitution doesn't say the pursuit of happiness, it says property. The deceleration of independence, however, says the pursuit of happiness.

#158 to #86 - anon (03/27/2013) [-]
You are just saying what most people here already know. The difference is your political and religious views that you somehow feel you need to state.

I mean, should we agree more with you because a lot of conservatives and religious people are condemning basic human rights? It's like you are proud of being a normal person and not hateful ignorant as the rest of the "group" you belong to. Yet, you still belong to that group, thus supporting it. What does that say about you? Do you share your opinions at church meeting? Take a stand or stfu.

Any FYI basically all of Europe is allowing gay-partnership because they ******* love each other and it's none of our goddamn business..

^Ditto. We cannot treat people differently under the law. gay couples should be able to enjoy the same benefits that married couples do. This much should be self-evident. I'm sure we could do this in a way that would satisfy everyone.

the fabulous one, of course. But seriously, everything you say is true. I don't even hate the sin, because to me hate is baggage. Being gay does not make you any less a person. my dad came out after he had me and my 2 brothers. We lived with him, and we all 3 are now functioning members of society with wives and children of our own.

And anyways, allowing gay marriage will not make the Catholic church marry homosexuals. It will allow gay men and women to legally call each other husband or wife.

...Is it not time to be pissed about something else?

If Stephen Colbert were one of the two remaining in the presidential race I would vote for him SO ******* hard.
User avatar #96 to #78 - clockworkmage (03/27/2013) [-]
I actually think that what would be best right now is a president with wit. We need someone who's intelligent and funny. Someone who's a good person to represent the United States is someone who understands that not all situations have to be taken with a stiff jaw.
