Close, it's just the time of the verb that messes up the phrase... With ''retournez'' the grammatically correct pronoun would be ''vos'' instead of ''votre''...
If you are informal, you can go with ''Retourne à ton pupitre''...

I hope it may help you in the future and have a nice day :)

the ****? Retournez à vos pupitres? Now she's plural...
And i never said pupitre casually in my whole life.
Retournez à votre table is correct, just a tid bit too polite.

Sorry, I should be happy someone tries to explain french.

Sorry, I forgot to explain that... In this case, ''retournez'' is a plural imperative form of the verb, so the subject (them) are not really in the phrase, as they are being given an order... The ''vos'' represents the desks...
There's also another ''retournez'', but it would not be applied in this case...

I may miss a few rules, so please excuse me, as even though I'm a french canadian, my french is far from being perfect...

Well if you say retournez vos tables, everybody is just going to flip their tables.
Sorry for harrassing you.

Hahaha, true, that's why an ''à'' should be put between ''retournez'' and ''vos tables'' as it serves to designate a location... The normal ''a'' is a forme of verb, so it's not to be confused...

And, sir/ ma'am, you are not harrassing me, I love explaining french :)
