Had a science test in high school. Wrote as many answers as I could fit on a little sticky note and stuck it to the lip of the desk in front of me. Used answers. Ended up scoring the highest in the class. I had averaged a C or D in that class. Teacher was proud yet slightly suspicious.

The highest grade is between a C and a D?

Now that's a bad teacher.

He said he "scored highest in the class," which I took to mean he got the highest grade in the class and not on the test.

Noo, my average grade in the class was between a D or C, on good weeks it would go up to a B . So for me to score the highest out of the entire class was a little strange.
