Gotta love the crystal clear graphics you get with some games.

But remember that when you first played the older games, you couldn't believe how good those graphics were either.

Especially graphics in themed games like Zelda and Mario. They're timeless, even after twenty or thirty years.

whenever i played those older games, i thought the graphics couldn't get any better. Now with todays graphics, i think the same thing. Am I wrong? is there still room for improvement when games like this almost look like a ******* video camera was attached to the car? I am really curious

Well it works like this, every new console or pc generation allows for more polygons to be use simultaneously. usually it multiplys by about 10. this is why the jump from say the playstation 1 to the ps2 was much more drastic looking then the ps3 to the now ps4. its the same amount of jump, but the polygons were already so small on the ps3 that there isnt much of a surface difference, you have to start looking at the small details to really see the improvement. I can see the playstation 7 being the last one before the naked eye can tell any significant difference. from further generations. and by then who knows, maybe everything will be virtual reality. and your brain creates the textures and shapes and smooths them out into perfect realism.

Need for Speed Most Wanted (The older one not the remake) Will always be in my humble opinion the best racing game of all time.

Underground 2 (in my humble opinion) will be the better. I enjoyed the individual shops the game had. The only bad thing about it was, no cops. They need to remake it IMO.

My friend recently gave me his brand new copy cuz he never plays video games anymore, and I hadn't played the game since it had came out on the original Xbox. And let me tell you...the game hasn't aged too well. I mean it was definitely my favorite back when it came out, but now...**** man.

Second that, I just loved to crush police cars in the most crazy ways I could find. One of my favourite techniques was to drive on the wrong side of the road at full speed, pass a truck very close as a police car drove next to me, and let the police car crash to oblivion into the truck

The only reason i beat the game was because i hated that goddamn asshole Razer (Razor?), and I wanted to get back at him. He was one of the biggest videogame pricks I'd ever encountered. Him, and the cop who keyed my car. Ugh.

I hope EA continues the Underground series. NFS UG 2 was the best!

They killed Most Wanted, as they will Underground if they decide to make a third one. You know it's the truth.

Exactly. It was an evolution from underground 2. It took the best parts about underground 2 and made them better.

Underground 2 is still amazing though.

You said that Most Wanted wasn't Underground 2, and I said exactly. That's what they were going for. An evolution. A better game.

They might well have been going for a better game, but they didn't make one, yes Most Wanted is good, but some of the better features from Underground 2 seemed to fall by the wayside.

Up until Carbon, the series was great. The original Most Wanted is still my favourite, and Underground 1 and 2 were good excluding the fact that you had to rice up your car to make progress.

Then Carbon came out, and while the level of customization was great, the game overall was lackluster.

Now the game is just a huge sellout.

Overall, underground 2 was the best. I liked Most Wanted a lot for the police chases, and carbon for the muscle cars.

Nope... Mazda Miata was the best starter car without any dyno tuning. Second best car in the game unless you knew how the **** dyno tuning worked, in which case the Toyota Corolla raped everything.
