A "social interaction" is any relationship between two or more individuals, regardless of the means used. If anything technology has made social interactions possible on a far larger scale then ever before, or have you forgotten that pesky telephonie thing?    
   
Regardless, good ol' Einstein never said that, it's just another anon internet quote, most likely referring to passive media such as radio & TV as it makes little sense when applied to interactive social media. He did say: "It has become appallingly clear that our technology has surpassed our humanity" which ofc means something entirely different.
