Well, here's a theory, what if god wanted us to explore all the available religions, and pick which seems to be most correct? That way it'd make sense. However, I do understand some people may choose the wrong book, in which they'd get punished when they should not.
Perhaps we won't even get punished, all we're required to do is be morally correct.

if all we need do is be morally correct then what is the point of even having religion?

Or just do what all the religions tell us, not be a dick

Amazingly accurate in its implications.

and, as in every such classroom, the smartest kid is the one who realizes all the books are in fact the same, all have a good message, and finds that, by following these values, the time he spent in the classroom is just as fulfilling as the milk and cookies reward after

All of them also have bad messages, you fail to mention that. You should rephrase it to "the smartest kid is the one who realizes all the books are in fast the same, and by cherry picking all of the good messages out of them, and by following these values, the time he spent in the classroom is just as fulfilling as the milk and cookies reward after."

******* kids being fed up with religion...
You haven't even tried to speak to religious people.. and yet you're blaming them from a great distance.

So why don't you that that redneck religious example and shove it up that narrowminded ass of yours

To quote the great philosopher Socrates, "I am wiser than this man, for neither of us appears to know anything great and good; but he believes he knows something, although he knows nothing; whereas I, as I do not know anything, so I do not believe I do. In this trifling particular, then, I appear to be wiser than he, because I do not believe I know what I do not know."

You guys should read some of Plato's works.

but what of those who insult the textbooks and teacher? those who picked up even the incorrect ones will have learned something and if given a test may or may not pass. but those who chose to deny the teachers existence fail.
