To be fair in this picture the camera man was told specifically not to touch anyone...

what was he suppose to do, feed the kid then what feed the whole ******* village he took this picture so people would see what it is like over there so they can all help.
User avatar #19 to #18 - tarnis ONLINE (03/21/2013) [-]
Im sure you like me would have tried to save the kid right?
User avatar #20 to #19 - darklit (03/21/2013) [-]
Well yeah of course i would have but who said he didn't after he took the picture.
User avatar #22 to #20 - tarnis ONLINE (03/21/2013) [-]

i think you replied to the wrong comment but if your asking if he killed himself i think thats true
User avatar #29 to #27 - tarnis ONLINE (03/21/2013) [-]
anyway i appreciate your stand on previous comments about on how he was told to be subjective and distance himself from what he photographed but as a human i would have to say most people would say **** that and help the child (at least after the photo) and im sure the village u speak of would be plenty thankful for someone saving just one child. Im sure you agree. And honestly im not sure if the photographer helped the kid or not. Hope he did tho.
User avatar #28 to #27 - tarnis ONLINE (03/21/2013) [-]
i think he did yea.

That doesn't mean the bloke isn't a ******* cold-blooded ass-wipe. A gazillion Pulitzers aren't worth a single living creature's life, especially a human being's.
I mean, how the **** can you look yourself in the mirror every day knowing that you listened to an order that told you not to help a dying human being, especially an order from some money-gurgling faggot.

So much for my rage, this is the world we're living in. Educate yourselves and others!
#31 to #24 - battlereaper (03/21/2013) [-]
And you're sitting in front of a computer with a roof over your head. 1.78 people die every second, I don't see you trying to help any of them. All you're doing is writing this ******** rant.
#106 to #31 - anon (03/21/2013) [-]
Hypocrite faggot.

But aren't we all?
#220 to #106 - battlereaper (03/21/2013) [-]
Except I'm not stating anything about me being a better human or saying that I'm trying to help dying people at all. I don't care about them, I only care about me.
User avatar #34 to #31 - cosminb (03/21/2013) [-]
I might have gone a little bit over the line with my rant.
But still, what I meant was that you cannot just say "I followed orders/instructions" when faced with this kind of situation(s).

It is true, I don't do very much in helping people to stop dying. May be the case for a lot of people in here... The idea I wanted to underline is, again, that you can't blame orders for not taking actions in these kind of situations.

Thank you for being better than me.
Cheers!

According to the dude above me he killed himself out of guilt but i mean **** him right all he did was try and spread what the villages were like.

User avatar #64 to #62 - thefasrdog (03/21/2013) [-]
It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.

The giving of food was a courtship ritual
The male "trying to move the hen" was just him banging her injured ass
that wasn't a touching moment it was rape

call an animal shelter...
User avatar #92 to #88 - maskedguardianmkii (03/21/2013) [-]
For a bird that, judging by the story, died within a day? I understand people's drive to save that which is injured, but if a bird gets hit by a car, there's only so much you can do.
