That's not actually where the money goes too as well-- yes, EA is the one that charges the cash at the end, but if you view it like that the game you;re playing in turn loses sales, which means EA thinks the developers behind the game aren't worth your cash either-- losing your series and other games by them.

But what about all those bastards that don't buy the game anyway? If they sell 20 million copies of CoD that means that there's still over 6 BILLION people that didn't buy it. Thats over $114 billion in lose sales.

'Lost Sales' are not a credible thing.
