Hemingway, however, was miserable during his life; he had 7 different wives, several more girlfriends and ended up killing himself. Probably shouldn't take that too seriously.

The problem, though, with this is everyone who's unhappy will instantly think they're intelligent.

im quit happy does this then make me not intelligent?

i find being able to enjoy life makes you an intelligent person...,

The two don't necessarily have a direct correlation, but there is a pattern that people who are intelligent tend to be unhappy.

To enjoy life is such a vague expression and disregards the different destinies lives can have. So no, you can't make a distinction like that.

empirical evidence will tell you the correlation doesn't exist in either direction.
