Good thing I exclusively play Chaos in fantasy. And in lower point-tiers, I tend not to use marauders.

whenever i have played them, provided it has beena strong saurus and krox army supported by 1st gen slaan (kroak) and a stegadon, then i barely have any casualties, so i wouldn't really get drunk

Lizardmen are interesting. They're pretty much (as far as I can tell) the only non-evil species in the entire warhammer fantasy universe, haha.

depends on your army although I think there is sort of a class identification system within each army between vehicle, infantry, and leader other than that you have a huge amount of customization behind your army by using a pre set number of points to 'buy' various troops, likes lets say you play a 500 point fire fight game (note I haven't played warhammer in years I forget the exact numbers) you could use two squads of fully decked out guardians for 200 points a leader for 100 points and a small squad of rangers for another 200 points or you could just run a zerg rush type army with 5 squads of guardians at 500 points each with a warlock leader but with less gear
or you could just go ahead and have like 5 leaders, table top games generally sacrafice simplicity for customization and diversity so it will have a bit of a learning curve but it's not all that scary once you get into it, just basic addition and subtraction and generic meta.

Dude, we could explain this **** all day. (Don't know where you go in America but) go to your nearest Games Workshop or Forbidden planet or whatever and find out about a match. Sit and watch it. Then buy a codex for whichever race you like. Then give blood for the blood god. Now you understand Warhammer 40k

in the comic above he says stuff like "space marine units", "terminator units", "dreadnoaught units".... yeah, sorry. i have no idea what i'm talking about, i've just seen art and stuff for warhammer...

The basic soldiers are divided into squads. In space marine terms this means 5-10 soldiers. A unit can either be refereed to as a single guy or a entire squad.(in this case most likely a single guy)

The terminators are a type of ultra heavy armor more in common with the average battletank than actual armor. Costs a ******* in ''game points'' to use though. But really worth it.

Tanks need no explanation.

And this is just he basics and just one specie. Would recommend at least going over the basic Warhammer lore and rules as it is a rater important aspect of geekdom.

Adding to what felixjarl said, dreadnaughts are like weird walker/tank/infantry as they can attack in close combat but take damage like a vehicle.

They're just different infantry types. Except dreadnaughts are machines.

Like Imperial Guardsmen, Kaskyrin, and Ogren
