Me too. I was playing it for like a day, and it was really late at night, and I was at the end of Lilly's story, and holy ****. I just don't cry for fictional characters like I did for Lilly.

Yeah. I did Lilly last because people told me she had the best ending. But I had gotten the first half of the ending spoiled to me, so I thought that well ****, is this all that's gonna happen? Then I got all of it, and that was just too many god damn emotions.

I didn't know that the arcs had good/bad endings and when I got Lilly's I wound up with the bad arc where she just leaves.. that hurt so bad =\

While I do suggest that you play the other ones, I know how you feel. There are a couple points, especially in Shizune's, where you almost are mean to Lilly, and let me tell you, I just rapidly clicked through most of those parts.

I don't blame you mate. But it really depends how much you felt connected to Shizune. Personally, I just made myself go through all of them just because I knew that once I played them, I'd feel for them each in their own way. But yeah, Lilly's has by far, the best ending. If you are planning on doing all of them, please save Lilly for last. People told me that, I didn't believe them, got to some point in Act IV, decided that they were right, did Emi, Rin, and Shizune, then went back and redid Lilly, and it was totally worth it.

I don't think anyone did. It's not natural how many feels can be generated from this damn game/novel. But I still think it was one of the best decisions I've made in a while to start playing it.

They're both slice of life anime, but slices of actual life, with very real feeling people who has the most depth I've ever seen. Nana is focused on two girls and their story, and surprisingly enough i found myself loving it. Its very feely and powerful, probably aimed at girls. NHK is dark humor, really inspiring story about trying to move forward from a depressing boring life, and get over all the pitfalls and stuff. The amount of feels i can relate to it is amazing. Im fairly certain that Kenji was based off the second male lead with his BE GONE DIRTY WHORES. Its really great.. I recommend NHK

Hmm, they sound interesting. I've been meaning to start watching a couple of animes. So I'll add NHK to my list. One of my friends suggested Elfen Lied, and I saw some Mirai Nikki stuff on here, and thought it looked interesting. You have any opinions on those?

I dont know what i think of Elfen Lied.. Seriously, i have no idea. Probably not one to recommend, as most of the characters are annoying as hell, and everything is just odd. Like really annoying. I want to murder Kyota, but then i'd get Lucy after me. If you want to try something really different, watch it. If not, dont
Mirai Nikki.. Well, plotwise it's odd. A bit standard kind of game, its just the twist it takes at the end. Disregard the twist, and its a heavy action and tactic packed anime with some great characters. Yuno wasnt really ******* annoying, which i found surprising. It aint bad.
I have about 9 anime i like, and Im really picky about my shows, so if you need some, just ask

Newcomer stuff eh? Fullmetal alchemist Brotherhood is a very nice standard thing. Its the one that got me into it. A whole world full of badass in a fairly good plot, lots of great character dynamic and everything.
If you like some brainy stuff like i do, Death Note is a popular tactics thing. I found it well. If you want very serious and realistic anime that can actually give you a feeling of 'this ***** quite scary' then Monster. Dont regard monster as an anime, but the equivelant of an older novel.
If you dont like that kind of stuff, then Madoka. Dont let the cutesy stuff decieve you; Its a perfect anime with great impact.
If you want some badassery, then Hellsing. If you want some other kind of badassery, Highschool of the dead. Dont mind the fanservice, its fine except for that.
And Avatar, Technically not anime, but its great if you havent already watched it.
I havent seen Garden of sinners, but it sounds like a great anime, serious and greatly animated
This is pretty much all i have found this far..

The sad fact is that most people in real life are very transparent and just go with the flow. They listen to what everyone else listens to, they watch what everyone else watches, and they "have" the same opinions as the majority of other people. Nobody shows their real self in society anymore, and that's because people are scared of being different, and as a result of being different you are usually frowned upon and regarded as a less being. In anime and various other fictional works of art the characters aren't as transparent and they really show their true self. You really get to know the characters and where they are coming from, you can't do that in today's society because everyone just follows what is popular and they don't have a real opinion on anything, they sort of just go with what everyone else goes with so they aren't left out. That's how I see it anyways.
TL;DR You actually get to know the characters better in fictional writings than you get to know people in real life, in most cases anyway.

I think people are themselves but they just have a tendency to like the same things. It's not just going with the flow just because, it's just how it seems because many people share a common interest, I mean if something is good it's good right? Also just because someone is unique does not mean that they are useful... I've seen some people that were better off just going with the flow, parts of my family for example... If they just mellowed out and listened every so often things would go alone much more smoothly.

It's true what you said, "If it's good it's good right?". I'm stealing that by the way. Anyways what I was trying to get across to anyone that cared to read was the fact that everyone is virtually the same now, everyone listens to the exact same things, everyone has the same opinions on things, everyone is basically just like a drone fresh off of the assembly line. The people that are opinionated and that tend to deviate from that flow are usually considered lesser than everyone and looked down upon. This isn't always the case, but for the most part I personally find it to be true. I'm referring to things like that it's socially acceptable to have sex before the age of 18, and if you are 18 and a virgin you are immediately frowned upon by everyone in your age group and considered weird. Some people find the concept of truly loving someone and wanting to save yourself for that special person just weird, "Why not just **** a bitch man" is what most people in my age group would say, and I find it just ludacris that it's socially acceptable to say that.

I understand what you're saying now. Originally I planned on saving myself for marriage too, but sadly, that didn't happen, however I do not regret my decision because I had sex with the one I loved and only ever will have sex with someone I love. I don't frown upon pre-marital sex, but if you're going to do it you better be in the relationship for the good of it. I HATE guys, and girls, that go out just to get a one night stand. It's a waste of time, money, and it's risky. Personally, I don't care what people think, if someone confronts me about them being an asshole I will tell them yeah, you were being an asshole. I've been in several arguments with people that thought it was odd that I don't party and drink all the time and that I was socially awkward because I didn't. In reality I can talk to anyone and get along with anyone, if I choose to; as it just so happens I don't personally care about people so I typically choose not to, but I will always help someone if I can. Society has gotten weird and I always find it funny that people say that the government is the one making the country **** when they don't take the time to look around and look at themselves first. Perhaps the country wouldn't be in such a horrible state if people didn't act so stupid and actually decided to help one another for once.

I'm not against pre-marital sex either, and in your case I think that it's not a bad thing at all, but in most cases nowadays people have it before marriage because they can, very few people do it because of them wanting to be closer with someone. In all honest I could have had sex 3 times by now for a fact, 1 time it was actually offered to my by my neighbor who tried to seduce me. The other 2 times was by one of my exes that wanted and child and the other with another girl I dated and we we're very close, but we was friends for a while and it got weird so we talked things over after that.
