I question most of the sources in this content. Was there an actual suicide to coffee drinking study done properly? Mormons don't drink coffee. A proper study would have to exclude devout Mormons.

Yeah and apparently twins and quads too but no ******* single births.. and even still when the combining of births that's still 27 births... 243 months of pregnancy.. 20.25 years of her life pregnant.. that means that she would have not spent even a minute not knocked up from the time that she was 20 years old and she kept conceiving literal litters of children.
User avatar #137 to #70 - crazyhindu (03/07/2013) [-]
true something seems ***** ,but having twins and triplets increases the chances of having non singlebirths, funny story i learned this because the whore of a teacher at my school has been knocked up 3 times in a row with twins, back to ******* back, she still is finding condoms in her classroom
#291 to #70 - physicsdude (03/07/2013) [-]
Could be a hormonal defect that causes her to produce more eggs, it actually is sound. Women who are infertile have the option of hormonal treatment which causes them to produce more eggs so the chances of getting pregnant are higher. This has also caused twins and triplets to be increasingly common.
Still i don't have any proof wether the it is true she had 69 children. Especially since the one with skin cells in the bed is fake.

User avatar #358 to #328 - sparkieemae ONLINE (03/07/2013) [-]
That makes even less sense. With the COMBINING of pregnancies we've already effectively filled up the majority of her fertile life, where is there room to fit a few singlets in there

I want to refute the point about the brain's storage capacity:
If the eye has approximately a 550MP resolution (1), that means you are looking at (roughly) a 39,600MB image every second. (3 bytes per colour, three colours)
With approximately 2,500,000,000 seconds in 80 years, this gives us 99,000,000,000,000MB (or 99 Exabytes) and the approximate storage space of the brain being a few petabytes (2), something certainly doesn't add up. Not even involving audio, touch or smell/taste senses, as well as thoughts and skills, The brain is too small to record everything we experience

(1) You need to login to view this link (seriously just google 'eye megapixel', it's everywhere)

(2) This was the largest estimate I could find, others estimated as low as 2GB.
(This link has a lower estimate of 1-1000 Terabytes:

tl;dr, brain is too small.
User avatar #121 to #120 - I Am Monkey (03/07/2013) [-]
The brain doesn't remember these memories as photographs, it remembers the important details. It's hard to explain, but think about when you're dreaming; you've got yourself, the person/thing you are interacting with and a vague setting. All the other details appear as you focus on them. Just try to remember an aspect in the background of a memory/dream. Unless you've got a photographic memory, you shouldn't be able to.
User avatar #122 to #121 - xtnega ONLINE (03/07/2013) [-]
Ah, but the question said it remembered everything we experienced, I know the brain doesn't remember it visually, but according to the question, I should have been able to remember every moment of my life. I just wanted to clear that up a bit as I felt it was a bit ambiguous.
#189 to #122 - eight (03/07/2013) [-]
Buy psychology book. Read up. Better understanding of memory.
User avatar #204 to #189 - xtnega ONLINE (03/07/2013) [-]
I understand that.
But that still doesn't change the fact that our brain doesn't have the room to store everything we've ever experienced.
User avatar #412 to #204 - eight (03/07/2013) [-]
But it does. When the information is stored, our brains process the information in a different manner. It converts and decodes it so to speak. It gets rid of the unimportant info, while retaining the major details and stores most of it deep inside of the brain. This information can be retrieved by triggers, taste, touch, sound, smell.
User avatar #423 to #412 - xtnega ONLINE (03/08/2013) [-]
But then the brain is not storing all the data, as it stated it was in the factoid, only the 'relevant' data.
As I said before, this makes it a bit ambiguous. Thus I felt it necessary to launch a counter-claim
User avatar #425 to #423 - eight (03/08/2013) [-]
But relevant data is everything you need to know...therefore everything.
User avatar #426 to #425 - xtnega ONLINE (03/08/2013) [-]
The factoid states 'everything you will ever experience';
Not 'everything that is relevant', or 'everything you need to know'
User avatar #427 to #426 - eight (03/08/2013) [-]
It never lied. It just wasn't specific. Sometimes, one must use a little thinking of their own and not need to be spoonfed.
User avatar #428 to #427 - xtnega ONLINE (03/08/2013) [-]
I never said it lied: I simply said, as you did, it just needed some clarification. However in this day and age, you can't honestly say anything anymore without explaining it, because someone will inevitably believe it; Take WTFacts for example, they have hundreds of misleading or just poorly worded 'facts' and people believe them.
Maybe I was just teaching people to question what they read for themselves, hmm?
User avatar #167 to #120 - redrex ONLINE (03/07/2013) [-]
wait, did you take into account when we're sleeping or our eyes are closed (blinking) because i'm sure with stuff like blinking, over about 80 years it would add up, and we sleep for at least 8 hours everyday average (unless you're in college) (i'm making a rough estimate on the hours of sleep
User avatar #178 to #167 - xtnega ONLINE (03/07/2013) [-]
Even if we slept for 12 hours, that's half of 99 exabytes, still ~50 exabytes, which is 50,000 petabytes, while our brain at maximum, has 1-10 Petabytes, so no, not even close.
Plus, our brain still receives that data (at least while blinking, not sure about sleeping.), in the same way a completely black image still takes up however-many megabytes of storage
User avatar #187 to #178 - redrex ONLINE (03/07/2013) [-]
okay, well at least with the black image, if it's just a black image, i don't think our mind would memorize every second of that black image. But anyway, you gotta admit, even if that fact isn't true, 1-10 Petabytes is still pretty ******* impressive
User avatar #205 to #187 - xtnega ONLINE (03/07/2013) [-]
