It's clear that in todays society, with our lax attitude towards maple syrup, has caused this huge surge in maple syrup crimes. And don't give me the 'the maple syrup didn't commit the crime argument'. You know if we didn't have such easy access to maple syrup, this never would have happened. We need more maple syrup regulations and restrictions.

Obviously syrup is becoming too dangerous for the general public. I mean look syrup related crimes more than quadrupled (4x0=0) what it was for the past ten years, in 2012 ALONE. I say we put a ban on syrup.
#76 to #63 - schneidend (03/06/2013) [-]
Lost it at "more than quadrupled."

I disagree
We need to stop these things at the source, And what is syrup made from? sugar.
I say we put a ban on all sugar and sugar products, this would not only drop syrup crime rates but prevent tooth decay.

Guys, this rate dramatically increased in 2012 by a 100%!
This is serious, with that rate increasement, this will end up being a serious problem, people won't feel safe on the streets, they will fear for criminals luring in the streets with a maple syrup!

**** this canadian politeness **** ..this is from my experience in canadian border. The canadians come to america and are extremely rude. they push and shove and yell and are disruptive and i was pushed by a canadian. Then in Toronto, they are rude and obnoxious and I believe many are like this because they're not well-disciplined. Many are also very racist . They often give the Silent Treatment of Orientals. I once went into a Canadian coffee house in Vancouver and asked a perfectly civil question about their range of coffees. All I can describe that I got back was an avalanche of attitude problems from the woman serving.
#81 to #78 - scsuper (03/06/2013) [-]
Your mistake: Being in Toronto. I live there and I hate it. Many people are immigrants and don't know how to act in a decent way when they move here, and it can't be helped. They raise their kids poorly by not being involved in some way in their lives because they are always working to make a living and the kids become hoodlums or jerks by hanging out with the wrong crowd. Now Toronto has a crime problem with the hoodlums being arrogant and thinking they run this town. inb4 Toronto's sports teams suck
#93 to #81 - John Cena (03/06/2013) [-]
Toronto's sports always sucked. No need to mention it.

Toronto's crime stats indicate that crime has actually gone down. It's just the media capitalizing on it to make it feel like it's on the rise. The part about the hoodlum part's pretty accurate, actually. The Sri Lankan and Asian communities in Toronto aren't very well mixed, and there are a lot of people who actually don't speak English. Like, legit don't speak English.

Which part are you from? Scarborough? That's one of the worst parts to live in Toronto, fyi.
