It's tempting to reply and delete my comment. But I'm not that much of an ass.

Anyways, if it were a dog, the claws would most likely also show, as they can't retract them. The prints are also rather small. And dog's foot pattern is rather erratic, so there would most likely be many more pawprints, if it was a dog.

My 2 cents.
User avatar #14 to #13 - bleachedpheather (03/06/2013) [-]
the reason why i think its a dog is because the toe prints are too spread out. and cat prints would be just a little smaller. it could be a small dog.

Cat's toes spread out quite a bit when the walk, for more traction. And small dogs have an even more erratic walking pattern, and the whole book would be covered in prints, haha.

More like, proof that cats could actually write centuries ago and that they are single handedly responsible for english, european and asian literature since the dawn of time. Their intelligence is on such a high level, they've decided to make it their purpose in life to purposely **** with us humans and fondle out women's breasts with their furry coats. They do this in waiting for the day they can once again retake the earth, and anyone caught trying to relay this truth will be caught by their feline order and silenced before such posts could reach the eyes of other humafksajfhjdklshlhdasjhs;dlasj;fjas;lkhjs. Sorry about that fellow humans. Just a creative writing exercise. Nothing to see here, on your way!

Story time kiddos!

My history teacher in highschool had a uncle in WW2.

He was stationed in the Philippines to help defend the island (he was in the Marines). He was walking through this village and saw a corral with a bunch of puppies.

He was lonely because he had been at sea for months, and figured sense he was stationed there for the time being, he'd buy a puppy and raise it.

Well, he didn't speak their language, and the man running the shop didn't speak English. So the Marine points at a dog and nods. The man running the shop pointed at the dog and nodded. The Marine nodded again.

Then the man took a hammer out of his belt and crushed the puppy's brain in. Turns out it was a doggy restaurant.

Poor jarhead. Poor puppy.

Use "an" when it's before a word that starts with a vowel, and in some cases "y" I think.
#31 to #30 - tomthehippie (03/06/2013) [-]
My bad.

Although, in English at least, if why is at the start of a word it is used as a consonant. In most words where y is used as a vowel, you'll find it at the end of th word.
User avatar #34 to #31 - icytime ONLINE (03/06/2013) [-]
I concur, but as I said, some cases, not often. I just saw "a uncle" so I thought you should know. Grammatical tidbits. Like I learned this: use 3 periods (...) if you're going to continue but 4 if it's the end of the sentence (....). SO KEWL.

And I just noticed that in my previous comment I lost an "e".

Damnit, quit making my Grammar Nazi and Spelling Spetznaz go crazy.
