The jpeg format has its uses.
There was an image that I had seen before that conveyed the idea really well, but I cant seem to find it, so I shall explain.

.PNG is for small images and vectors, for when you really want to preserve detail, such as OP's post. It can also be used for larger artwork, but the resulting file is relatively large.

.JPG is for taking screenshots, and for larger artwork, where the image is shown with a great resolution and range of colors, but also keeping the file relatively small. it should also be noted that using this format seriously degrades quality when higher compression methods are used, such as in OP's post.

The legends told of a repost, that was reposted so many times that it started to corrupt itself, one day it would be so blurred that pain screamed from its slowly dying lines, but the repost would not stop: people cried in agony as their eyes was forced to watch it again and again, turning more and more corrupt by each passing moment.

Its gruesome lack of pixels was a pain to all, it was not going to stop either, for it planned to go on until its very end when no single person could read it, nor see what it originally was. That day will soon arrive, it is only a matter of time. Be prepared young lings, for this monster will not go down without a fight.

I should really have checked the expiration date of that orange juice, when did i start writing epic sagas?
