Funny how it doesn't show the guy whose money being taken has 100+ times more than that in his bank account. but oh well, the rich just want to get richer.

I make just over 24k a year, I'm barely above the poverty line, and between Medicare, which I'm healthy so I don't have to use often, Social Security and Federal/State taxes I lose $6,000 of that. Before I even get to touch my money I've already lost 1/4th of it. I work hard and get treated like **** but my money goes straight to all the people I went to school with who have since dropped out of college and just live at home or jump from apartment to apartment screwing over roommates for rent money. Some are druggies, others are just lazy but they don't contribute anything to society and they get the federal assistance. Yup, sounds fair to me. I guess I'm considered rich by your view point though because I'm the one they are taking money from.

$24k a year? "rich"

sorry but no. just no.

Can you elaborate on that, I can't tell if you are agreeing I'm not rich or if you saying I have a "fair share"

it doesn't matter how much he has earned. the poor are owed nothing. the only things you are entitled are things you earn. why is that such a difficult concept to grasp. and no i am middle class and the government totally ***** my familly for taxes every year, yet my unemployed uncle and his live in girlfriend have ******* iphones.

Of course it matters how much he earned. Taxes are not making anyone poor. You have a job, the states takes a bit of the money and spends it on the people who cannot afford certain services, and everyone is happy. Poor people pay taxes too, you know, just not as much, because they don't own as much.

What taxes does a person on welfare pay? I've tried to figure that one out.
On what income do they file their tax returns on the taxes they pay as you are suppose to?
#16 to #15 - tyraxio (03/04/2013) [-]
They do pay taxes from the welfares they receive. That's why you hear that they receive this amount of money before and after taxes. However, this shouldn't be a problem, as the fewest of people are on welfares for their whole lives. What else should we do? Put them on the streets the moment they are unemployed?

Alright then, my family is currently trying to take over a fairly large trucking company hauling hazardous materials, from my grandpa. When we take over, we will be put in a different tax bracket and be required to pay more taxes. THEN we will have employees to pay, repairs, compensation, et, al. Given our current housing situation, which is at the corner of Ghetto Ave. and White Trash Highway, we want need to move to a better neighborhood soon. But because of Obama screwing us over on taxes every year, that won't happen for upwards of 5 years. And where is all the money going? To Cindy, the local crack whore. To James, the fat man to lazy to get off the couch. To Tyrone, the gangstah.

All right, listen, you can't complain that you have to pay for whatever trucking company you are interested in getting. That is your own business and no one is forcing you to do that. Also, this new "tax zone" does not make you less rich, you know. Say, if you are in one zone from 10.000 dollars and you have to pay 20% there, and the following zone you have to pay 50%. If you own 11.000 dollars, that does not mean you only have 5.500 dollars, as you pay the taxes depending on the amount of cash you have in each zone. That would just be stupid, and make people want to earn less money.

Btw, the money are going so that people whom SOCIETY ACTUALLY ***** OVER (Note, not your middle-class ass that complains about having to play employees for a large trucking company) actually gets paid for pretending to be interested in a job. You know, in order to receive benefits you have to fill in a lot of criteria, and you have to actively look for a job, to a degree which I personally find stupid, because they literally have to apply for jobs they know they can't get.

Our "large trucking company" that we are trying to take over, is a 10 man company owned by my grandpa, whom we re taking it over from, because he can't run it any more. The only people over here, getting ****** over, are us, and anyone living in this school district because they are able to spend money to build two new buildings, but can't buy new books. (I know, different budgets but still)

That was the most ignorant and "I know I lost" reply I have ever heard. You don't wanna spend money on your large trucking company? Sell it, and stop trying to take it over. That was simple. You are NOT being ****** over. You are imagining being oppressed.

What about the taxes are going to build the roads, so that your trucking company has something to drive on? How about the taxes are going into gas subsidies, so you can fill your hazardous material trucks with gasoline and transport that material somewhere safer. How about your taxes are going to poor people, people who can't find a job, so that these people do go breaking into your house, killing you and your family and taking all your stuff, because they are to poor to feed themselves?
User avatar #13 to #9 - psykojet [OP](03/04/2013) [-]
The roads are **** , HAVE been **** , WILL ALWAYS be **** . The gas in our pumps are bought by us. And what part of "Ghetto" do you not understand? The closest we have had to someone breaking into our house was some faggot trying to sell crystal meth.

Since you gramps owns a trucking firm, don't you pay for a TAX STAMP EXTRA for the use of roads? In effect, not only do you pay taxes for the roads out of your paycheck, you pay extra with licensing the truck, the tax stamp and THEN taxes on the fuel.
And you're right, the roads are **** .
