I've been dating a guy like this for over a year, never met him face to face.

For his birthday I got him a Sega Dreamcast, because he had always wanted one, but whenever he raised enough money, it was already bought.

A lot of stuff has happened to me since I met him, he still stays with me and we both love each other.

We talk on Skype sometimes, and on the phone every other night.

I cried for a solid 20 minutes.

I fell in love with a girl in Canada. I know what she looks like, and I know what she sounds like. But I never saw both at the same time. **** reality man.

This is actually how my bf and I met. I went halfway across the US to meet him, then he moved to be closer to me. Now, we're 1,000 miles apart because I have cancer and need treatments here while he needs to save money there.

I miss him.

I could post a story about how this was me and it worked out, but it's really long. I typed it out and it's like 3000 words, and that's in greentext format.

Oh come on, this is the 21st century and unless you have a handicapping passport such as a Chinese one, you can travel around the world as much as you want.

Because you make it sound like everyone is swimming in money that they can travel as much as they want.

Again, it is the 21st century, everyone can afford a plane ticket every now and then.
We are not in 1970 anymore.

I met this girl on this app. We are so alike and she is really chill and cute :D
We live in the same state because that's what the app does. But she lives a good hour drive and i have no car and i'm 17. Since we're both so alike and awesome we have the same taste in music. We both went to the same concert and it was cool. She didn't want me to meet her friends quite so fast so we waited until a mosh pit started and i could yank her away from her friends so we could be together and talk. I was mostly alone through out the whole concert since i lost my friends and i never had the chance to talk to her yet. During a band switch she told her friends she was going to the bathroom and she walked past me and grabbed my arm. She actually had to use that bathroom and yeah xD.
She got out and we got to talk for a little bit until her best friend came and stuff. (honestly it was so hard to hear for both of us but it was still fun. She was as nice and sweet as i expected.) So near the end i got to be with her as our favorite band played which was OF MICE AND MEN :D and we separated from her friends during a mosh and it was just us 2. In a huge crowd of other people squished and stuff. We had to hold hands so we wouldn't lose each other :3 which was nice. We ended up getting to the front some how and we were here singing along with everyone else to our favorite band together. They finished playing and everyone's yelling/chanting "1 MORE 1 MORE!" And then they come back out again and played 2!!! more and those 2 were my FAVORITE songs. Second and Sebring, and The Great Hendowski. Everyone just head banging and jumping up and down. It was just pure amazing and really touching. I will always remember that day.

I really felt like i could just die happy at the end of that day. Listened to my favorite band. Got to meet a cute girl who was just awesome. Had an awesome time. <3
I've gone through some women. But i feel like she's the one deep within.

She had soft hands. Me too.

Also the app was called Skout. I was bored and felt lonely since i was suspended. I regret nothing choosing to use it. I used to mock internet relationships and such orjust didn't understand them. But i guess it is possible to love another person through a screen.

I'm so glad coincidences like this happen to me once in a while. And this one ended up amazing.

The same situation is happening with me.
I have a friend that lives in Tijuana, and I live in Guerrero, almost to the other side of the country. We have long and funny as hell conversations, we agreed almost with everything, we both have autism, we discuss about religion, tabus, videogames, shows, music, who was the best pokemon and why Hitler was a pretty cool guy.
Is the friend that I will have for the rest of my life, I´m very happy for that.

But he is a dude.
We are BFF. No homo.

My girlfriend lived in the northern most part of Ohio. I lived in Florida.

I hate long distance relationships. So I drove 1,118 miles one way, nonstop (except for gas) to go GET HER. She had all her things packed, put them in my car, and we drove right on back down to Florida.

We have been happily married since October 13th, 2012. Don't lose hope guys/gals, you can be with the person you love. It'll just take a lot of work, effort, compromise and sacrifice. I didn't have the greatest paying job when she moved down (I do now), so to save up enough money for gas to go get her and come back, I ate nothing but Ramen for two months.

When there's a will, there is a way. In the meantime, have this picture! <3

Why would you ever befriend someone you won't be able to meet face to face? I don't get it.

All aboard the feels train
toot toot :(

I'll be honest. I used to knock these relationships all the time, thinking it'd be ridiculous to truly fall for someone you've never seen in person. But then I fell for someone in a different country. So now, I stand by these relationships (Well, mine, at least). We are planning to meet this summer.

TL;DR?

I can relate.
