I recently had two jobs.
I quit the second job on Saturday. Their reaction? To fire me.
Yes, they fired me for quitting.

Back to one job now. Juggling 2 jobs, high school, dual enrollment with a community college, and a girlfriend is extremely hard.

That's not legal, if you submit your resignation in writing, they legally cannot fire you before processing it.

It was like breaking up with a girlfriend, and then they make it look like they broke up with you.
Pretty much the scenario, rather than breaking up it was quitting. And rather than girlfriend it was a job.

Look at #80 for how it went down.

Apparently afterwards she ran into the back and tore up the schedule because she was so mad.

I did quit, no doubt. They won't be able to say they fired me. Although she tried to blow it off, at the time, that she was firing me.

Yup. Maybe one day I'll be able to shoot my daughter's laptop.

Don't let them actually fire you. Quitting looks better on a resume than being fired.

I quit, then they tried to make it look liked they fired me.
Me: "I won't be able to work here after today.."
Pissed off PMSing manager: 'Yeah well, just don't come back. Don't even clock in today'
She said that as she was about to cry. (Sounded like it.)

They had to have the last laugh. Oh well. Like I give a **** .
