The 1st Alto in my high schools jazz band improvised a solo in rehearsal with those three notes in that order. He also did D-G-A-F

have fun! ive been a boner for 6 years. best of my life. also have fun note playing that note without 1) a trigger attachment or 2) beast lips

it's not that difficult to play that note dude. anyone playing for like a year and a half should be able to play it. now playing the pedals an octave below that.. that takes a while.. was only really able to pop those out about a year ago.

As a music major, hearing such a clumsy, awkward, and ******* retarded phrase as "the D note" makes me want to start stabbing children.

At least the note is actually a D. I thought it would be anything other than a D and I was going to be quite upset.

I know it's a D. Been reading music for most of my life and all that. That's not really the point.
User avatar #57 to #56 - fuzzy lumpkins (02/25/2013) [-]
I wasn't trying to say that you didn't know it was a D. No need to get defensive.

Too bad she was flat.
#18 to #16 - anon (02/24/2013) [-]
No it's not, it's in F, which means the B is flat.
User avatar #19 to #18 - captainwow (02/24/2013) [-]
I meant the chick wanting the D, anon. As in she wasn't going to get it because she was flat. Not the D itself.

User avatar #46 to #36 - bobcats (02/24/2013) [-]
Yes. You know what else mezzo forte is? It is the dynamic that trumpet players have no clue how to play below.
