The part where they already are.

Go try to buy a fully automatic.
Try not registering a gun.

I do agree though. It is very plain, and fitting it is listed 2nd after only the free expression of ideas.

Depending on the state, all you need is a Permit for a Fully Automatic and some states don't register guns anyway.

Well not all states require registration but yeah there are limits on automatic.

#133 to #123 - anon (02/23/2013) [-]
Yeah, because they never thought guns would evolve ever.

if you are telling me that they could have predicted the kind of weapons we have now, you are ******* retarded. Go crawl back under your uneducated rock somewhere, and take a ******* history class for christs sake.

Machine guns were put into use during the industrial revolution right around 1840-1850. 1850 -1776= 74 years. If it took 74 for the militarized imperialist to use them they were probably being used before that and were in the makings even earlier. If Benjamin Franklin and the rest of the gang couldn't figure out what guns were going to be like, we may have bigger problems. There's your mother ******* history class. Bitch.

Repeating firearms were produced less than a hundred years after the declaration of independance, and yeah considering china created a repeating arrow launcher a thousand years before, it's not a ******* stretch of the imagination that the smartest people of a ******* generation would go, someone is going to improve the fire rate on this thing, because people did within their lifetimes.

"Oh yeah, I bet we will be able to carry around multiple fully automatic weapons on our person that can shoot hundreds of yards with incredible accuracy."
Thomas Jefferson
Dam. Just found this quote. Guess you're right.

Implying the average man has a full auto weapon, and they're rifles were known to kill out to 1000 yards, 300 less than your average AR.
