The thing was the older shows were more risky and clever. Take this show (Samurai Jack) it was a kids show constantly showing a warrior cutting things into peaces despite being for all ages. It made plenty of hidden adult jokes and drew from mythology and actual fighting styles. Say what you may but this was an excellent show.

Most people idolize their childhood memories. If we had watched Adventure Time as kids, we'd be saying AT is the ****

Cartoon Network isn't old enough to be using a cane.
It was started late in year... October, I believe of 1992.
It's only 21 years old.

It's called getting older ya **** faces. Quit bitching that the shows on a childrens channel aren't as good as they used to be. It's because YOU'RE not their target audience.

I dont see the big deal in 90's cartoons. There were only a handful of cartoons from the 90's that were good or even decent like Dexters Lab, Johnny Bravo, PPG, Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, Batman. Then there are shows that I look at now and go, "What the **** was I on when I thought this was funny or good?" Remember AAAHH Real Monsters!? That show was ******* stupid, it was like a hellish version of Rugrats. Rugrats in itself wasn't too good either, the animation was mediocre but I will say the creativity put in it was great. Another show that people LOVE that I find to be abnormally retarded is 2 Stupid Dogs. That's literally ALL IT IS 2 Stupid Dogs just doing stupid **** , like spitting in an 3D billboard bowl to make soup or going to a farm for corn to get cornflakes. It blows my mind to think that someone likes that show because it was in the 90's and part of their childhood when it's just as bad as flapjack or the new spongebobs

I don't really get the point of bitching about this, I was an early 90s kid and I'm over 20 now, of course I don't watch CN, I'm not the target audience for a kid channel anymore.

If I was a kid nowadays I would probably love these new shows, I have a little brother who does that.

If you think about it, really old cartoons were a lot better than the 90s cartoons too (objectively), Top Cat, The scooby doo show and Fred Flintstone had a lot better quality than shows like "ed, edd and eddy", "cow and chicken" and "I am weasel", but kids in the 70s and 80s didn't have internet to go to when they wanted to complain and whine about new cartoons like we do today.

This is even worse than people who complain about music nowadays, at least the music is somewhat targeted to you and not kids.

It's only because you grew up with it. I bet when the new cartoon network eventually changes, kids from recent times will feel the same way you do now..
